It’s hard to really put into words what it feels like to watch your child work toward something for so many years and then see the doors begin to open.

BC’s hard work is paying off, and he has been blessed with multiple opportunities to play at the next level for some really great coaches and programs. We are so incredibly proud of him, but we also knew this was going to be a big decision for him to make.

He told me he was going to take some time, step away from it all, and pray about where he was supposed to be.

Last week, I was sitting at a fall ball game at Pearl River, thinking about all of those decisions ahead of him. The offers. The possibilities. The years that had led him to this moment.

And I asked God to send me a sign. About ten minutes later, I looked up… and there it was. A rainbow over the PRCC scoreboard.

In the end, the decision was BC’s to make. He prayed about it, trusted where he felt it led, and chose the place that felt right.

We are so incredibly proud to say that BC has committed to continue his academic and baseball career at Pearl River Community College!

From that little boy playing T-ball in preschool to the young man he is today, what a gift it has been to watch his journey.

Keep working kiddo. This is only the beginning. Roll River Roll!

I’m excited to announce that I have committed to Pearl River Community College to continue my academic and baseball career.

First, I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love. Thank you to my team of parents, family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has supported me and helped me get to this point.

Thank you to Coach Avalon and the entire PRCC coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this opportunity.

I’m proud to be a Wildcat and ready to get to work.

First and foremost I want to thank my Lord and savior Jesus Christ for everything he has done for me. I would also like to give thanks to my parents, coaches, teammates, and everyone else who helped me grow as a player and a person. I also want to thank Coach Gordon and Coach Rollins for giving me an opportunity to continue playing. Building explosive lower body power that transfers to the batter’s box, the mound, and every first step on the field is definitely not just moving weight. It is very intentionally producing force as fast as possible.

Strength without speed is incomplete.

We’re chasing a player who can produce lots of efficient force when the game demands it. The offseason is about developing qualities that separate good players from impact players.

The results are coming because the work has been there every single day.
