SBSUM celebrated the Class of 2027 with one of our favorite senior traditions—Senior Boots & Pearls!

Senior Boots & Pearls is a meaningful rite of passage for SBSUM students as they prepare for their final year and the next chapter ahead.

At the Senior Pearls High Tea, mothers pass pearls to their daughters, symbolizing the wisdom and truth they hope to carry with them into the future. Our senior gentlemen receive a timeless pair of boots and hear mentoring advice as they prepare for the next phase of life, ready to confidently walk in both boots and suits.

Both traditions represent the timeless value of wisdom and truth and provide a special opportunity to celebrate, encourage, and honor our seniors.

We are so proud of the Class of 2027 and grateful to share in these meaningful traditions with them!

WEEKEND RECAP 🦅

A weekend of competition, growth, and Eagles pride!

🏈 Varsity 6-Man Football
The Eagles battled #4 Brazosport Christian on Friday night, falling 50–27. It was a hard-fought battle through the first half before Brazosport pulled away in the second. Proud of the fight, resilience, and effort our Eagles showed from start to finish. The boys are ready to learn, grow, and get back to work.

🏃‍♀️ Cross Country
A special Saturday morning for freshman McKinley Rocco, who made her Rhetoric Varsity debut at the Kardia Meet and raced her way to an impressive 4th-place finish in the Girls Varsity 2-Mile!

Way to represent the SBSUM Memorial Eagles, McKinley! 🦅

Keep working. Keep growing. Keep leading.

We praise You, God! SBSUM is off to a beautiful start across all six campuses!

We are incredibly grateful for our community of students, families, faculty, and staff who have helped us begin the school year so strongly. As SBSUM continues to grow, we are thankful for the opportunity to partner with families to educate and equip students to Think Critically. Live Biblically. Lead Courageously.

We look forward with great anticipation to all the Lord has in store for SBSUM this year! #sbsum #firmfoundation

What a year. ❤️

Today we closed another school year and my mama heart is feeling all the things. Lawson is headed into his sophomore year, Gunnar into 7th grade, Audrey into 6th, and Titus into 2nd. Time truly is a thief and a gift all at once.

This year didn’t look exactly like we planned in many ways… but God has been faithful through every unseen battle, every hard conversation, every prayer whispered late at night, and every moment where faith had to be bigger than fear.

When I’m fighting the unseen, I always go back to the Lord’s Prayer. And this year, in His goodness, the Lord helped Audrey memorize all of Psalm 119. What a gift. What a weapon. What a reminder that His Word is living, active, and powerful.

176 verses hidden in her heart. 🙌

If you’ve never read Psalm 119, go read it. Slowly. Prayerfully. It will change you. His Word steadies us, strengthens us, corrects us, comforts us, and reminds us where truth is found.

So thankful for another year of truth, beauty, goodness, growth, friendships, teachers who pour into our children, and the grace of God that carries us through every season.

Praise God for the next generation. Thank you @sbsum_memorial for your faithfulness and accountability!
