Mental health doesn’t discriminate and neither should the conversation around it. 💚
Kehlani speaking openly about living with bipolar disorder is a reminder that prioritizing your mental health can look like setting boundaries, slowing down, seeking support, taking medication, going to therapy, protecting your peace, or simply acknowledging when you’re not okay.

For women especially, we’re often praised for how much we can carry. But wellness isn’t about proving how much you can withstand. You deserve a life that doesn’t require you to constantly recover from it.

Been learning that real growth starts with showing up for yourself. Happy I came out to both Sweat + Soothe events in June to support @shanaebenito_ and the @sbwellnessfoundation 💚🤞🏾, but I realized I needed it just as much. Locking in mentally and physically has become a priority.

Second year. Same bright smile. Bigger dreams. ❤️🖤
Watching Amora experience @camphbcyouth for the second year in a row has been such a full-circle moment. Last summer she explored the beautiful campus of @spelman_college , and this year she had the opportunity to learn, grow, and make memories at @cau1988.

This year was even more special because while she was creating memories as a camper, Mommy’s nonprofit, @sbwellnessfoundation, had the honor of partnering with Camp HBCYouth to provide mental wellness programming for both the campers and the counselors. Being able to pour into the very community that’s helping shape my daughter’s future was something I’ll never forget.

These experiences are about so much more than summer fun. They’re planting seeds of confidence, culture, leadership, and possibility.

I’m incredibly grateful to Camp HBCYouth for believing in our mission and creating spaces where children are empowered, families are supported, and wellness is prioritized. Watching Amora thrive while serving alongside an organization I love was a blessing I don’t take for granted.

Here’s to another unforgettable summer, continued partnership, and raising a little girl who knows she belongs in every room she’s called to. So proud of you, Tink. ❤️
