WCC Judge Skills Program — Athens 🌍 World Brewers Cup 📍 Eurogat SA 📅 September 22–23 🕣 08:30–17:00 both days 💶 €400
Your first step toward becoming a WCC Certified Judge.
Led by certified WCC Reps Sotos Michael and Stavros Lamprinidis, assisted by WCC certified judge Michalis Dimitrakopoulos. Two days deep in the World Brewers Cup scoring system — real insight into how judges evaluate, straight from the people who do it.
Open to competitors and coaches too — get valuable insight into exactly how you’re judged, not just how to judge.
Starting 2027, this program becomes a requirement for anyone pursuing WCC certification. Get ahead of it now — right before competition season kicks off.
Spots are limited to keep the group workshop-sized.

As a coach, success isn’t measured by the trophies you win.
It’s measured by the people you help become the best version of themselves... even if one day they go further than you ever did.
Watching @angelopoulos_thanasis step onto the podium and earn 3rd place at the @worldcoffeechampionships World Coffee Roasting Championship was much more than a result.
Over the last few years, we’ve been through moments that tested us.
We changed direction, made difficult decisions, started over more than once, and kept moving forward.
Not because we were chasing a trophy .
But because we were chasing growth.

Together, we achieved a highest result Greece has ever earned in this championship. A moment we’re incredibly proud of.. not only for ourselves, but for Greek coffee.

What makes it even more meaningful is that all of this happened in less than a year since the creation of Offbreed Coffee Roasters @offbreed.coffee . It proves what a shared vision, trust, and teamwork can accomplish in such a short time.
At the end of the day, success isn’t about what you take from people.
It’s about what you leave behind.
If, through your knowledge, your actions, or your example, you help even one person become better than yesterday, you’ve already achieved something far greater than any trophy .

Representing Greece at the World Brewers Cup has been one of the greatest honors and experiences of my life.

Standing among the world’s best and finishing 21st is something I’m incredibly proud of—especially at just 22 years old. There is still so much to learn, and this result has only strengthened my motivation to keep growing and challenging myself.

Just a few months ago, winning the Hellenic Brewers Cup gave me the opportunity to stand on the world stage. Looking back now, I’m incredibly grateful for every step of that journey and for everyone who helped make it possible.

Our concept was ambitious, and although I don’t think every part of it was communicated as clearly as we had hoped, I’m proud that we stayed true to our vision. Achieving a top-21 finish on the world stage with such an innovative approach motivates us even more to keep learning, improving, and pushing ourselves further.

None of this would have been possible without an incredible team. Thank you @krosscoffeeroasters , @sotosxmichael , @stavrosmichael1980 , @despoina_karaouli , @kiriaki_mathiou , @marianda_michael and @eva_vouli. This achievement is the result of a true team effort, and I couldn’t have done it without every single one of you. ❤️

A special thank you to @sibaristcoffee for crafting the custom spoons we used during our routine and for believing in our vision from the very beginning. Your support truly meant a lot to our team.

Finally, thank you to everyone who supported us, encouraged us, and believed in this journey. Every message, every kind word, and every bit of support meant more than you can imagine.

This experience has only made us more determined to keep learning, refining our ideas, and coming back stronger. The journey continues, and I’m excited for everything that’s ahead. ☕🌍
