slide 19: some of my fav designs by PEN TO PIXEL (@shawnbrauch1)
slides 1-18 by me*

was rlly sick 2 c Pen & Pixel’s shawn be interviewed in a recent youtube video by MONTREALITY. outside of a 2019 article by rbma i hadnt seen any deep diving on tha story or artwork of P&P (i’d recommend checkin both out if u havent seen!).

P&P’s work has n will always b a massive inspiration n i thought id share a bunch of work by myself (some from 10+++yrs ago!) either directly inspired by tha aesthetic of P&P’s work or what i can only describe as an honest capturing of spirit and rawness coming from P&P’s and some other mixtapes’ artwork ygm?... it’s smthin i always strive 44444!

*slide 16 features actual P&P n other covers blended 2geva, blown out n animated 4 my old friend @hollowpointsradio's NTS show, where he plays all tht music those covers were 4 (go check tht show frrrr), 8yrs l88a i had my own takeover 4 HP where i played all of my FURIOUSLY SCREWED stuff (all a homage to DJ Screw) n did all tha visuals (slides 17-18)
