FORZA ITALIA - A JOURNEY THROUGH CALCIO CULTURE

Few countries live football quite like Italy.

The flags, banners and colour of the curva. The architecture of the great stadiums. Shirts, style and street culture. Local pitches and provincial grounds. Rivalries, rituals, family and identity.

For a generation of British supporters, the fascination intensified with Italia 90. Then came the great Serie A years of the 1990s - the world's best players, iconic clubs and stadiums, and Football Italia bringing it all into our homes every weekend.

Lower Block has spent years documenting and curating photography from across the Italian game.

From Milan, Inter, Napoli and Torino to Venezia, Verona, Genoa, Bologna, Bari, Catania and beyond - ultras, Scudetto celebrations, stadium architecture, grassroots pitches and the everyday culture surrounding calcio.

We've brought that work together for Forza Italia, a photographic journey through the passion, style and heritage of Italian football - alongside selected Lower Block Editions and prints.

Forza Italia - A Journey Through Calcio Culture.

Now live on Lower Block.

Tuffi, musica, risate e qualche ora lontani dalla spiaggia e dalla confusione.

La prossima giornata potrebbe essere la vostra.

Football culture is our second skin. Seeing the guys back on the pitch wearing the collection is a reminder that fashion belongs where the energy is raw and real.

Returning to the Fossombrone pitch means reconnecting with our roots. This isn’t just a collaboration, it’s a living crossover where real football culture shapes modern clothing.

There are seasons that are won.

And there are seasons that become eternal.

This one belongs to Inter Milan.

Under the lights of San Siro, through rain, pressure, noise and silence, a team became a city’s reflection: proud, relentless, beautiful. The 21st Scudetto was not simply lifted — it was earned through every sacrifice, every run, every voice echoing from the Curva Nord until the final whistle.
And as if destiny wanted more blue and black written into history, the Coppa Italia returned home too. Another night, another trophy, another chapter added to a story that never stops breathing.

These images are not just celebrations.

They are fragments of immortality.

Smoke in the air. Tears in tired eyes. Flags dancing above generations who waited, believed, suffered and loved the same colours with the same intensity.

Football, in moments like these, becomes something greater than sport.
It becomes memory. Identity. Family.

Milano is black and blue tonight.

And somewhere between the flares, the songs and the endless embrace of the city, history found its heartbeat once again. 🖤💙

Scudetto. Coppa Italia.
A double-winning season for Inter Milan. 🖤💙

Italian football is never just about what happens on the pitch.
It lives in the streets, the families, the rituals, the emotion.
