Oh Matilda…
Already a week has passed since this wonderful show closed and I still haven’t entirely processed it. Going into this show I assumed playing a character as honest as Miss Honey would teach me something about myself, but I couldn’t have predicted it’d affect me as it did. Miss Honey has taught me to question my fears and find bravery through passion - two things that I’ll now carry with me wherever I go. This role has pushed me so hard mentally, physically, and technically and has opened up so many opportunities to keep learning.

Those lessons aside, the cast is what truly made this experience so special. I’m so incredibly grateful to have built so many friendships with the next generation of this company. There is SO much wonderful talent within this cast and I truly cannot WAIT to see what you all do next. Especially, especially, especially the little ones in my class. As I said in my senior speech, you all have Miss Honeyified me to oblivion. I love each one of you so dearly. And to my little Maya - I know you won’t see this but you truly have my whole heart. I’ll always look out for you no matter what you do next.
