✨CREATURES OF NYC: HALLOWEEN EDITION ✨🎃👹🗽

We teamed up with the talented @scatterbrainshowcase to bring you a Halloween edit to the beautifully bizarre city we call home🌀✨

MEET THE ARTIST BEHIND THE MADNESS 🎨

Meet Mandee, the Brooklyn raised Nuyorican creative behind @scatterbrainshowcase! 🗽✨Growing up in a family of artistic New Yorkers, she credits her parents for nurturing her love of art, surrounding her with imagination, artistic expression, and endless inspiration.

Her creative journey has taken her through fashion, makeup artistry, and eventually the wonderfully weird world of AI art, where she found a way to bring even her wildest ideas to life. Her work blends surrealism, vintage glamour, kitschy nostalgia, and a delightfully bizarre touch of the creepy and unexpected. 💖

Welcome to NYC through the mind of Scatterbrain Showcase.

👻 Which creature would you least want to run into on the subway?

SOLIZONE ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 014 Part 2 — MANDEE / SCATTERBRAIN SHOWCASE

@scatterbrainshowcase

THE FACE AS A CANVAS

Mandee’s background in makeup artistry deeply shapes her visual language. Faces become a canvas for transformation — defined by striking makeup, exaggerated glamour, doll-like femininity, and meticulous beauty details. Through AI, she pushes these familiar codes of beauty into worlds that feel fantastical, nostalgic, and occasionally strange.

SOLIZONE ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 014 Part 1 — MANDEE / SCATTERBRAIN SHOWCASE

@scatterbrainshowcase

Glamour meets the weird. ✨

For Mandee, the world of Scatterbrain Showcase is where glamour, kitsch, nostalgia, and surrealism collide — creating sparkling dreamscapes that can feel beautiful, strange, playful, and unsettling all at once.

Behind the glitter is a deeply intentional creative process. Moodboards come before prompts, ideas evolve through experimentation, and hundreds of generations can be narrowed down to only a handful of images that truly belong in the final world.

In Part 1, Mandee shares the aesthetic behind Scatterbrain Showcase, how she builds her visual worlds, and why prompting is only the beginning of the creative process.
