Lake Murray is getting some well-deserved attention from the fishing world. 🎣

WorldAtlas included Lake Murray among 15 standout bass fishing destinations across the South, putting it alongside Santee Cooper Lakes as one of two South Carolina fisheries featured on the list.

If you’ve spent a day on Lake Murray with a rod in hand, you already know why it made the cut.

Another pretty good reason to get out on the water.

🎣 Another reason to plan a trip to Lake Murray.

Lake Murray has been named the No. 5 Best Bass Lake in the Southeast by Bassmaster in its 2026 rankings. From tournament anglers to weekend fishing trips, it’s a destination that’s earned its place on anglers’ maps year after year.

Whether you’re casting a line at sunrise or spending the day out on the water, there’s a reason so many anglers keep coming back.

Have you reeled in your best catch on Lake Murray? Tell us about it in the comments. 👇

If your ideal weekend involves a boat, a fishing rod, and nowhere you have to be, this one’s for you.

Tucked away on over three quarters of an acre, this river cottage is all about enjoying the Lowcountry the way it was meant to be. Hunt, fish, spend the day at the sandbars, or simply slow down and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Comment “589” and I’ll send you all the details. 🛥️🌾

Sea Badger is ready for #FreemanFriday

47’ Freeman. Faux teak foam flooring. Full tower. Massive Garmin stack. Mercury muscle on the transom. Rods loaded and rigged. With a Release Fighting Chair in the aft.

Docked up in the shadow of the Beaufort Hotel and looking like she owns the waterfront.

The only thing left to do is untie the lines.

Here’s the polished caption:

Built to fish. Built to run. Built to live on.

Scout did something special with this one — a proper flats-ready skiff that doesn’t ask you to choose between fishability and comfort. That bow casting platform is wide, clean, and ready for a shot the moment one presents itself. The Bimini gives you shade on the run out and keeps the crew cool when you pull up on the bar. Custom fabricated seating with that cognac-and-cream colorway? That’s not an afterthought — that’s someone who takes their time on the water seriously. And a Yamaha 250 on the transom means you’re not just getting there, you’re getting there first.

This is the kind of rig that makes Monday mornings feel a lot further away.
