For December’s spotlight, we’re thrilled to present the gift that is @allthings.scene 💙. Founded by the visionary duo @byfrankiespence , photographer/director working as a creative assistant at Somesuch and @laurajsfoto a freelance photographer currently working as a studio assistant for Sophie Jones. Scene is a dynamic creative platform dedicated to cultivating a vibrant community through casting, events, and the arts ⭐️ We were honored to be part of the panel for their “Side Hustles” talk, where we explored the nuances of balancing creative passions with work alongside @zeeeeeea and @malinfrtz . This insightful discussion was just one of five incredible panel talks hosted by @allthings.scene and @asiaahmed that took place at their debut event in September. Each talk offered a nuanced and authentic perspective on discusions shaping today’s creative landscape and culture. We’re in awe of everything they’ve accomplished in such a short time and can’t wait to see what they have in store for 2025! 📈‼️

Back on decks with sis @140bpmahns for 👻 BOO! This Thursday at none other than Four Quarters, Peckham alongside @drexthisiscold @cowielizzie @m.icthree @asiaahmed @livinggatlato - it’s free! Had a lovely trip to Manchester for @womex_theworldmusicexpo thanks to @british_underground for having me 🙏🏽 Big up @seen_universe for bringing forward important conversations n stupid talent! Was really humbling to catch a few talks on censorship in music industry in regard to Palestine, and also the role of music and culture in preserving tradition during genocide and war targeted destruction of cultural spaces, n would like to spotlight the work @marsm_uk @makemusicmatteruk and @in_place_of_war @ahmedeidmusic are doing, - do check them out and see how you can donate/ help + keep showing up! Spooky szn but nothing is scarier to me than the apathy n disempowerment of people knowing our governments backing genocide. 📸@fabricebourgelle at @dialledin_
