A little good news to start the day…

I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected for Pronghorn’s October 2026 Spirits Prep: Industry Fundamentals cohort. @pronghorn.co

As I think about where I’m taking The Bourbon Goddess, I know that means continuing to learn — not just about what’s in the glass, but about the business of spirits, the people behind the industry, and what it takes to build something that lasts.

Over the next four weeks, I’ll have the opportunity to deepen my industry knowledge, expand my network, and learn alongside other professionals in the spirits space through programming in partnership with DISCUS Academy.

I’m excited. I’m grateful. And I’m looking forward to seeing where this next experience takes me.

Another step in the journey. 🥃

ATLANTA WAS ALWAYS MORE THAN WHAT PEOPLE SAW.

Before the retrospectives, before everybody had a think piece about the culture, there were people here making things because they had something to say.

Fashion was part of that conversation.

This is a little piece of the past. Funny how something can be a memory one day and a reminder the next.

I’m not here to explain the future. Just paying respect to a moment that helped shape the road.

Some moments hit differently. 💗

I grew up watching A Different World, so to sit up close and personal for a fireside chat with @feliciapride right before the show hit @netflix felt incredibly full circle.

Listening to her speak so openly about her journey as a writer—the wins, the lessons, the persistence, and everything in between—was inspiring. I don’t even know her personally, but I walked away SO proud of her. That’s the beauty of watching someone boldly walk in their purpose…it reminds you to keep walking in yours. Great job @scenebysatchel !
