There is something so beautifully uncomplicated about @placedelareverie Santal de Paris.

It is soft, creamy and smooth, with a gorgeous mix of sandalwood and vanilla. There is a delicate powdery feel that adds to its elegance without making it too sweet or heavy. To me, it is like slipping into a soft cashmere sweater on a cool morning. Warm, comforting and just a little indulgent.

It opens with lily, giving it a subtle powdery elegance. As it develops, the creamy Amyris comes through, adding warmth while keeping the floral notes understated. On the skin, the sandalwood and vanilla become more noticeable, with amber and a touch of benzoin adding to that warm, softly glowing finish. Everything blends together so beautifully, with nothing feeling too dominant.

I love how understated and sophisticated it feels. It stays close to the skin, but the lasting power is surprisingly good. So cozy and so easy to wear.
