✨ KEEPING UP WITH THE TIGERS ✨ This summer, rising junior Grace Coller was awarded the Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellowship for work in public service (@schaefferfellow). She attended the Fellows Summit in Washington DC, where she got to work with students from universities across the country, hearing guest speakers, engaging in professional development, learning about career opportunities, and exploring the city! Great job, Grace! 🐅

@schaefferfellow’s summit in horizontal 📸

As July - and my time at the EEOC as a Schaeffer Fellow - comes to an end, I’m reflecting on how great this program has been!! I’m so grateful to have been a part of it, to have met all the fellows at our summit, & to have spent the summer working to combat employment discrimination💙✨

Last month in DC, @friendsofpics had the incredible honor of presenting Leonard Schaeffer with the inaugural Friends of PICS Impact Award — for his unwavering support of PICS and for his enduring dedication to bridging the gap between academia and real-world challenges through the Schaeffer Fellows Program, which has set a standard of excellence in promoting civic engagement and nurturing the ethos of service in others. Please see our stories for more great shots of this wonderful evening! @princeton @princetonalumni @pace_princeton 🧡🖤

Meeting and connecting in Washington D.C.! Ten Princeton Internships in Civic Service (PICS) interns participating in the Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellowship in Government Service (@schaefferfellow ) connected with fellow Shaeffer Fellows from Harvard University, the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Southern California, and the University of Virginia to start off their summer experience.

Founded by Leonard D. Schaeffer '69 P00, the Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellows in Government Service program works to provide undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about government service and public policy through a 10-week internship every summer.

1️⃣ Austin Glover '24 talks with another participant.
2️⃣ Nicco Platt '25 and Mia Beams '24 (back to back at center) connect with their fellow fellows. People stand and talk with one another around round tables.
