Here are some amazing photos of the car in its prime, absolutely burning rubber on the track with the incredibly skilled Scott Preacher behind the wheel. 🏁🔥

A huge thank you to Scott Preacher @schiznick for sharing these photos with me. They’ve been incredibly helpful in piecing together the car’s history and identifying the various modifications, as well as understanding exactly how the livery was laid out and designed specifically for this car.

Having these photos to reference makes the process of bringing this car back to life that much more special. 🙏🏎️

The soft reveal of the G Cabrio is here. Manufaktur Classic Blue, V8 rumble, side pipes, soft top, these will be perfect for all terrain fun… from PCH to Rodeo Drive… and maybe even a skii trip!

First four door factory production G-Class Cabriolet.

Familiar faces.

Nicely integrated third brake light.

This will be a phenomenal product for Mercedes-AMG.

But there is another G we are excited about…

The Baby G. We wonder how that will stack up in the Mercedes-Benz lineup. Thoughts?

The Maybach Exelero’s story started in 1938 with a Fulda tire test car shelved by WWII. Decades later, Mercedes-Benz revived that spirit: Pforzheim students designed it, Maybach engineered it, Stola built it in Turin. Debuted in Berlin, May 2005 — then hit 351.45 km/h at Nardò on Fulda tires stamped EXELERO. Often confused with the Xenatec 57S Coupe (2010) — same designer, Fredrik Burchhardt, but a different car: a two-door conversion of the Maybach 57S sedan, not the one-off Exelero. Maybach’s history runs deeper than most know… a legacy of German luxury engineering most people have never heard the full story of. Read about it and see it on the cover of the 2026.4 issue of The Star Magazine by MBCA. The Star is available to all club members worldwide. Subscribe at link in bio. #Exelero #Maybach

2027 W223 S class refresh is unbelievable. I-6, V-8 and V-12. 2700 new parts. 10 degree rear steer. Over the air updates. More screens than a Best Buy showroom. Benz didn’t stall or give up; they elevated their vehicle. This is remarkabe and BMW will surely answer with the updated 7. There is nothing like a stately flagship sedan.#sclass #w223 #2027 #flagship #mercedesbenzsclass
