Last night at @uprightbrewing the community showed up to honor a modern beer legend and send them off with joy and memories. Was truly a night to remember. 🙏✌️

This little basement brewery has been a heavy hitter for years. Since moving to Portland it’s has always been at or near the top of my list of recommendations to others. I’m honored, neigh, I feel like I owe it to Alex, Brent, Garrett, Bobby, Todd, Nick, Rachel, Dee and all the others of @uprightbrewing to try and do a little something with @grasslands_barbecue in their beautiful space. Soon, the brewery doors will close for good. Not looking forward to that. Also, for fun, we brewed a nice collaboration Pilsner. Like all their other beers, it’s a tasty one.

As we ring in 2025, I want to redouble my efforts to support my many friends in the industry who make it what it is. I am especially lucky to have become friends with Alex Ganum from @uprightbrewing in the early days of the opening of his world class brewery. In addition to being his buddy, I also had the privilege of being his employee as well. That basement brewery, and Alex mean more to me than I can properly say in words. So please come join us tomorrow night from 5pm until close, as we celebrate all things @uprightbrewing and eat a little fried chicken from our friends @har.bq.pdx!
