TODAY IS “INTERNATIONAL WOMEN & GIRLS IN SCIENCE DAY” !!! According to unwomen.org, “today, just 30 per cent of researchers worldwide are women, and only 35 per cent of all students enrolled in STEM related fields of study are women.” Her Revival is all about motivating women to defy the status quo and truly fill up the spaces that were “never meant for us” ! (Eh emm, we were born to fill up all spaces 🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏿‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️) For that reason, we wanted to take the time to shed light on some amazing women that we enjoy watching flourish!

This past Saturday, friends, @jetblue Crewmembers, and over 100 corporate volunteers came out to volunteer at the annual @nackidscan Kid Olympics at @chelseapiersnyc. The families and children in attendance were able to partake in the sports offerings the field house had to offer, including rock climbing, gymnastics, batting cages, soccer, and basketball. They were also able to get their faces painted, design t-shirts, jam out in hip hop classes, and play with therapy dogs before closing their day out with a medal ceremony where all the volunteers gave them high-fives and cheered them on. Despite the rainy surprise in the afternoon that soaked a lot of the volunteers, it was a wonderful day and the kids had a blast!

It was open to my friends, so hopefully you come out in the winter for the Holiday Party event or next summer. If you want to get involved beyond those two events and want to learn more about the Young Professionals Committee I'm on, please shoot me a message!

Thought it was a little sad that my bday post was a picture of meatloaf! This better captures the joy I experienced. Feeling super blessed. Thanks friends for making it amazing! 💜 #notWLSrelated #WayUp #Ifeelblessed
