Life may seem really tough and bad sometimes, but it is always good and fair in the long run. Especially when you have transformative experiences like these that you can look back on, the memories just sneak out of the blue and bring a smile to our face

Thanks to our immensely talented surfer/ instructor @ram_ram_budihal from @theshakasurfclub, we were able to catch a few (small :P) waves at the Kodi beach.

The beautiful sunsets and the super fun company took the experience to another level!

Book launch alert, darlings!

'365 days of Covid' is an important anthology edited lovingly by @rebeccarijsdijk and it is being launched right now!

Here's a very last minute invite to the book launch event where you can see my mug reading my poem published in this book. Link in stories and bio. Come off:)

(Also, I guess this makes me a published poet now! :))

As a nurse, I have spent so much time during this pandemic feeling powerless and unheard, and being included in this anthology is the opposite of that. I am so thankful. — Kristen Taleen. Our Launch will be in an hour on Youtube, but you can get your hands on the paperback now. We're still working on the E-book and expect to launch that tomorrow.

Let us be wildflowers
borne by our freewill.
Let us grow, free footloose
in the places that we dream.
Let us bloom between the cracks of brokenness
adding color to the greens.
Let us be wildflowers..
our souls scattered in the winds.

- a bday ode to the free-spirited
