We’re proud to celebrate our Executive Director, Tanya Rodriguez-Hodges, who was invited to speak at Columbia College’s Common Hour in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month! ✨

As an Afro-Latina and community leader, Tanya shared how her identity shapes her leadership and how she uses her voice to advocate for, support, and uplift her community.

Thank you to Columbia College and John Dozier for the invitation and the opportunity to connect with your campus community. It was also a pleasure to speak alongside Screndria Robinson and share in this meaningful conversation.

Two days late, but I couldn’t let this moment pass without sharing! What a great time we had Sunday at Mt. Olive on the Hill, God met us there! It was such a blessing to preach and worship with some truly awesome people.

Thank you, Mt. Olive on the Hill, for welcoming me with so much love. What an encounter!

🇺🇸 9/11 25th Anniversary Campus Commemoration

Join us this Friday, September 11, as we pause to reflect, remember, and honor those affected 25 years ago.

📍 Meet at the Flagpole on The Green, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Prayer led by Columbia College Chaplain, Rev. Schrendria Robinson
• Sign thank-you notes for local emergency responders with Dr. Melissia Brannen
• Share your tribute for “Remember the Sky”

🌍 Can’t make it to campus? Get involved from anywhere:
• Pause: Observe a moment of silence at 8:46 AM, when the first plane struck, or anytime throughout the day.
• Remember the Sky: Take a photo of the sky wherever you are, post it with your reflection, and use #rememberthesky and #neverforget911. (https://911memorial.org/remember-sky)
• Give Back: Consider donating to The Never Forget Fund to support the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s mission.

Let’s honor the legacy of those we lost and keep the promise to never forget. 🕊️
