Rain in the forecast, progress on the schedule. 💪

When the weather doesn't cooperate, you find a way to keep moving forward.

We built these walls inside the shop, got them loaded up, and hauled them out to the site. Even with rain in the forecast, we made the most of the day and got the walls set around the house.

A little planning, a good crew, and a commitment to keeping the project moving. Every step gets us closer to bringing this home to life.

Work doesn't always happen in perfect conditions, but progress happens when you keep showing up.

Super proud of all of our Building Trades students! Grateful to see many of them walk the line at graduation at @niacc_trojans ! Best wishes and blessings on all of your endeavors!

Will get the privilege of working with some of these same students in our summer term, starting May 11th.

Have a great weekend! #niaccbuildingtrades

Another year (#16) in the books of a great post-frame unit with @mortonbuildings ! We are very grateful for the huge instructional impact as well as the donation of the sheds! It’s been tradition once the sheds are done for the crew leaders to host a bracketed hammering contest. For the contest, to keep it fair, both competitors used a 15oz @stilettotools TiBone hammer. Morton has a program in place where they see the long term value of avoiding wrist injuries and fatigue. They cover over half of the cost of a Stiletto hammer and the rest is only 10 bucks a month to their employees. Grateful! #niaccbuildingtrades

Also super thankful for @toolebox4x4chevy1 and Curt for their amazing help in moving these sheds out of the shop in preparation for other activities.

If you’re interested in a shed, DM me.

In preparation for our guests next week, students disassembled and moved the pumphouse walls and components on a flatbed trailer and then offloaded at the farm. I participated in a pre construction meeting today and we may get to erect these panelized components in the May term. Grateful.
