Ă Frequency-extinguishing need” [ this course was way easier to dissect ] (May 2026)

That energy spoke to me. Flashing lights showed me the distorted shadow of a sculpture (Mojo Crescendo); One I quite didn’t like so much at the start >

“And so it drew into me, this carnage, this beautiful resemblance - one that needed no reintroduction! It was all to well familiar with me.” (June 2026 , ‘Mojo Crescendo’ [Deluxe])

And suddenly the playbook wasn’t so foreign! The language. The manner. The way.. (July 2026 | Subscribers R&B [500 Subscribers])

I was beginning to swell with harboring Ă thesis. The path was becoming even more ferocious. #still

Words Words Words Words Words Words
I shouldn’t have more words to say. But then again, these words “weren’t ever mine” to start with. These rules were written before I was given life. Now I see you all. Now I see everything!

What more would be satisfying for us. Relying on humans. Even when it’s already come with its own course. “ you could almost not know that there is a question there..

And so then I began. Marooning.

Everybody.

Everyone.

That desire was dormant. That affection was driven. And that picture started to fit my face more secure than my imagination could belong to my self.

“It speaks!..
YOU CAN TALK!?”

Theres almost always little echoes you can hear when it starts, there’s never an indication that it won’t when it does. And that became more sure. That’s what became more secure. That’s what felt like knowledge.
That’s what began to feel like power. ~ (August 2026 / GrooveFest: Duling Hall)

< ..Power wasn’t was meant for offense ”, but rather Defense. Ă gas motor with its own shut off @ Set for when and how. The job had been paid.

The remnants of the portrait was never clear if I hadn’t already been. That part took strength to discover & so we took some time around our roots. >

We had to walk, and still are. Thats just the only way we knew how to get somewhere without having to weigh any responsibility of reliance. “Because Rules are an exchange.”

And it took strength to recove

🥂🔥 JACKSON, HERE’S SOMETHING WORTH RAISING A GLASS TO.

We Lit is always talking about what happens when community, creativity, local businesses and good energy come together with PURPOSE—and this is exactly what we mean.

On Sunday, September 27, the TOAST Mimosa Festival is taking over The Plant from 1–6 PM, and the celebration has an even bigger purpose: TOAST is a fundraiser benefiting Briarwood Arts Center. 🎨💜

If you’ve followed We Lit, you already know BAC is more than a building to us. We’ve seen firsthand what happens there—artists get space to create, community gets space to connect, ideas get room to grow, and Jackson gets another place that reminds us how much creative culture already exists right here at home.

So when somebody throws a party that helps pour BACK into that ecosystem?

Yeah… We Lit is going to tell y’all about it. 😂🔥

Come sip. Come vibe. Come support. But most importantly, understand WHY your presence matters.

Because Turning Up With Purpose also means knowing where your dollars, your attendance and your energy can help strengthen the community around you. 🥂🔥

Jackson, this one benefits BAC. Let’s show up.

🎨✌🏾 4 YEARS OF BAC
+ 1 YEAR OF WE LIT ROCKIN’ WITH THE FAM. 🌀

Briarwoodstock reminded us exactly why Briarwood Arts Center feels different. Even when the rain tried to change the plans, the energy said KEEP GOING. 🌦️➡️☀️

Big love to Schvaie for coming through and helping turn the energy right back UP after the rain. That’s what community looks like—
showing up, bringing your gift, and keeping the vibe alive. 🎶🔥

And seeing Bernadette made this one extra special. 🥹💜 She was one of the first people to welcome me when I started volunteering at BAC, and she’s been a major part of creating the culture of community + art + belonging that makes BAC feel like a second home.

Thank you for making space, making people feel welcome, and helping build something people genuinely want to be part of.

For We Lit, this is what Turning Up With Purpose looks like. It’s not just promoting the event—it’s showing up, building relationships, amplifying creatives, supporting community spaces, and being there long enough to become part of the story. 🔥

So cheers to 1 YEAR of volunteering with BAC. 🥂
4 YEARS of Briarwood Arts Center. 🎂
Four years of community, peace, creativity and art. ✌🏾🎨
And MANY more years to come of creating a little Jackson magic together. ✨

Because sometimes you walk into a place to volunteer…and somewhere along the way, it starts feeling like home. 💜

Happy 4th Birthday, BAC! WE LIT! 🔥🎨✌🏾

🎨💜🎶 FOUR YEARS OF BAC?!

Oh, WE OUTSIDE for this one. 🎉

The BAC Summer Playlist is still playing, and this time 5th Child understood the assignment. 💿🔥 We dropped “Baba Ghanoush” into the rotation because a BAC summer has never been just about what sounds good—it’s about the artists, stories, ideas and PEOPLE behind the art.

And 5th Child said it: you have to understand people to truly serve them. THAT PART. 🎯

That feels a whole lot like what we’ve watched happen at Briarwood Arts Center—a space where artists can create, musicians can be heard, ideas can be tested, community can connect, and creatives can GROW without feeling like they have to change their zip code to be worthy of opportunity.

Because Mississippi already got it. 😏🔥

And on September 6, we get to celebrate FOUR YEARS of BAC doing exactly that with Briarwoodstock: A Day of Peace & Art. 🥳

The artists. 🎨 The musicians. 🎶 The vendors. The volunteers. The families. The neighbors. The partners. And EVERYBODY who has bought something, shared something, attended something, donated something, created something or simply kept showing up for this space—this celebration is for y’all too. 💜

Whether you’ve been rocking with BAC since day one or you keep seeing us talk about this place and thinking, “Okayyyy, what is going on over there?” 👀😂 COME SEE.

And yes… “Baba Ghanoush” is officially on our BAC Summer Playlist. 💿🎶🔥

Because when creatives have room to create and community shows up to support them…

WE LIT. 🔥💜
