I met a creative woman @shamirawomack then met a creative man @pchristopherduncan then we made a movie @highrollers_thefilm
The last two years we been behind the scenes grinding out the creative process and necessary logistics that’s required to make an independent film in Philadelphia.
But In the words of the great Kobe bean “job not done” we still have a couple scenes to pick up and the just as tough post production process to finish but when we give yall this work I hope we make our family friends and city proud
Shout out to @tony_chennault @omarsherrieff @facemoney.vf and @terrell_reidsr for spending hours on the jack with me walking me through the process
And the staff and talent for grinding it out in 90 degrees heat and crazy rain delays the summer gave us.
And most importantly the young actors man they did they thing
More to come soon 💯

The last 3 weeks have been so amazing. Being on four different sets in such a short amount of time is something I never thought would be possible even just a year ago. Thanks to everyone who invited me on to their projects! I’m so excited for what comes next!!!🎬

WOW. When I decided to write a script for the @playhousewestphiladelphia 333 challenge, I could not have predicted what an incredible experience it would be. I can’t believe what we were able to pull off, and I can’t believe I said “what if I pulled my heart out” and a fearless crew said “sure let’s do it”. WHAT?! Still buzzing. Thank you thank you thank you. So lucky to get the opportunity to create with such talented people. Oh and thank you to my dad for letting us use your apartment for our crime scene.

Very late but it was documented so worth to post it. Love seeing familiar faces on stage, and I have a gift to close my eyes everytime a camera snaps

As I come up on my one year anniversary @playhousewestphiladelphia I just wanna say thank you. Thank you for the tools I now use everyday I'm on set. Thank you for this one of a kind community, I am inspired by you all. Last but not least, thank you for pushing me and @luciegoocie to write and direct our film, Just Cuz, beside the incredible @_tiq and @its_alius , who were also integral on shoot day! The film played (with minor technical difficulties) at The PHW Film Festival this weekend and I couldn't have been more humbled by the love everyone showed us. I was blown away by all the films I saw there this year and I can't wait to see what next year has in store!
