📡OUR SIGNAL📡IN FULL📡

Last year, Michael Dondero @foggymoors & Shay Dong @shaymarch__ brought NOSTRIL to the HVFF - a wonderfully strange, funny & beautifully-crafted #stop #motion film that made us immediate fans of these two.

When it came time to create the signal film for this year’s Fest, we knew exactly who we wanted to contact.

Michael & Shay took our weird ideas and ran with em; bringing a hefty amount of talent, imagination, craftsmanship & genuine love of film to every frame.

These are the #collaborations the Hudson Valley Film Fest lives for.

Films screen. Artists meet. Ideas get passed around. One creative thing leads to another. And somewhere along the way, something entirely new gets made.

This #ripple #effect : creatives finding each other, supporting each other, & making things together is a HUGE part of what drives the Hudson Valley Film Fest.

Michael called this a “literal dream commission.” Getting to collaborate with these two talented creatives felt pretty dang dreamy on our side too.

We appreciate them, and appreciate what they made.
Here is the transmission in full.

Created by Michael Dondero & Shay March for the 2026 Hudson Valley Film Fest.

Capturing the Hudson Valley Film Festival at the Warwick Drive-In was genuinely one of my favorite shoots this year. There's something special about watching a place built for movies turn into its own kind of stage. All of the art installations, vendors and interactions with everyone made this very unique experience. I feel lucky I got to help tell that story. Grateful to Hannah and the whole HVFF team for having me out, and already looking forward to next year!
