🍂 NEW TRAILER DROP🍂 Just in time for our screening today at @kerryintfilmfest We are immensely proud of our short film ‘Samhain’. Inspired by our own experience, we know how essential it is to show an authentic and meaningful portrayal of this world. The grief, isolation, joy, magic, pain - all living side by side in a world you’ve never known before. “When her autistic son goes missing from preschool, this worn out mother must delve into his imagination to follow his tracks in the hope of finding him”. The response we’ve received so far has been nothing short of incredible. It shows how needed these stories are. There is something so powerful about opening up your experience in order to allow others to feel seen and I hope we’ve achieved that ❤️ We are by no means done yet, so PLEASE share far and wide if this resonates or speaks to you in any way. The American AI corporation launches an insightful and balanced documentary exploring how Icelandic people are approaching the arrival of artificial intelligence. Directed by Gar O’Rourke through Jaywalk, this honest and contemplative documentary from AI corporation Anthropic takes us to the heart of an Icelandic community, to discover how people are feeling about the use of AI in their everyday lives. Set amidst the country’s stunning scenery, the 8-minute film, titled ÞETTA REDDAST, moves through schools, workplaces and community spaces to capture a range of perspectives on the technology and what it might mean for the future. Beyond these organisations, O’Rourke takes us out into the community, gathering diverse perspectives from whale-watching captains to the local church and choir. Edited by Nico Frank & Kauai of post production studio Leap Year, the film weaves conversations that feel natural and candid, offering a neutral and balanced perspectives that makes space for scepticism, curiosity and humour. The film takes its title from the Icelandic phrase “Þetta Reddast,” translating loosely to “we’ll figure it out,” a sentiment that ultimately runs throughout the film. This charming new film for the retailer extends the store’s slogan ‘Every Little Helps’ with a montage of all the ways Tesco supports community actions. Created for Tesco Ireland by BBH Dublin, the campaign features a whimsical TVC, directed by Rich Hall at Riff Raff Films, that imaginatively depicts a variety of local projects. Huggable trees, mermaids, old geezers sharing their feelings in sheds and packs of happy rescue dogs all feature in the film That’s Every Little Helps as it follows the packed schedule of a Tesco employee delivering helpful initiatives to customers and organisations around the locale.
