Part of the reason I love this band SO much is their dedication to the fanbase and our creativity. I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know Mirage City vendors better this year, as well as photographer and videographers. Allowing their fans to create and capture the art we witness in their music is truly special and thoughtful. Thank you for giving us creative freedom @kinggizzard 💚 I’m sorry to anyone I didn’t make it to on Friday, I overdid it on my schedule and got a bit overwhelmed. “Tennessee, Tennessee, there ain’t no place I’d rather be!”

June 3, 2023. The third night of @kinggizzard’s residency @thecavernstn. This show was historic in more ways than one. This was one of the biggest “official” bootlegger lots on-site at a Gizz show to date. And boy was the creativity of this fanbase on full display. Not even the Tennessee in June heat could deter them! This was an early precursor of things to come at Field of Vision.

This show was also noteworthy as the band announced they would be performing in drag, and encouraged their fans to do the same, in protest of a grossly bigoted law making it’s way through the state’s legislative branch that sought to outlaw drag performances in certain situations. Shortly into the show’s start, the band informed the audience that it was no longer a protest, but a celebration, as hours earlier a federal judge struck the law down as unconstitutional. In 2024, an appeals court reversed that decision, allowing it to be reenacted into law. Since then, several lawsuits have been filed trying to reserve that decision, to little effect. As of today, drag is technically legal in Tennessee with some stipulations and restrictions. But that doesn’t stop lawmakers from trying to ban it outright and fully.

A historic residency and tour, The Caverns run has already gone down in Gizz lore as an all-timer.

Damn y'all, 2025 was a great year.

I experienced all of the change, growth, and healing I had hoped for but in absolutely none of the ways I expected. I learned what is truly important to me. I found solace in solitude. I tinkered. I traveled. I gave difficult old places and things new meaning and purpose. I made music. I saw music. I became debt free. I found my one true soul mate, Quixote, underneath my deck.

I'm eternally grateful to all my friends and found family who were with me along the way, new and old. Y'all keep me lifted and grounded at the same time. I know now that being alone isn't the same thing as being lonely. I love all of you 💚

Cruising into 2026 with a few attainable goals but absolutely no expectations - I've learned to be like water.

I'll see y'all at Field of Vision II! Here's to the friends we've made and cheers to the ones we'll be meeting soon. 🍻

2025… what a freakin year amiright guys?? this has easily been the best year of my life!! if you told me 5 years ago that i would be travelling to the other side of the world for a band i don’t think i’d believe it. I went to 19 gigs this year and 16 of them were for king gizzard… i guess i have a favourite 🤭🤭 i had the best time!! so eternally grateful for the amazing people i had the privilege of meeting and touring with, it was so surreal to catch up with people who i had previously met in europe on the australia tour. it wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for the best band in the world!! @kinggizzard thank you so much for putting on so many shows, you allowed me to push myself out of my comfort zone and do all sorts of things i would have never dreamed of doing. 2025 has treated me so well, so many amazing memories, travelling for 35 hours to lisbon for my first ever gizz show, seeing the very special kg club dj afterparty in barcelona, detouring through italy for the amazing food and an eye opening experience, seeing the acropolis in athens and somehow ending up sprinting up that hill fuckin daily, the last minute hustle to make the australia trip happen and seeing the boys on our home turf, getting to witness the beauty that is opera house and actually see a show there, crowd surfing 5 TIMES at the enmore, the hectic afters that followed and the absolutely dreamy two nights in melbourne. my heart is so full and i’ve never been happier in my entire life, thank you again to all the lovely people i met i cannot wait until next time!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing night. Empty seats because we broke through and danced at the sides. Was kicked off the opera house grounds for selling bootleg Gizz merch. All was worth it!
