Each year, February 17th will always be a “second birthday” for me. Because on February 17, 2024, I started my GLP-1 journey, fully and wholeheartedly prioritizing my health, wellness and fitness with the guidance of my primary care provider. Two years and over 80lbs later, the journey hasn’t stopped but I’ve learned so much about myself, nutrition, exercise and, most importantly, how GLP-1s work and the physiological impact of having a GLP-1 deficiency can have on one’s weight, diet and overarching metabolic health. Today, it’s much less about what the scale says and much more about understanding what “being healthy and happy” means to me. When all is said and done, I am objectively happier and healthier than I ever have been and am more committed than ever to continuing this journey! If you have questions about GLP-1s or if you want to know more about my journey, reach out! And don’t get it twisted, my results were directly related to the GLP-1 I was on PLUS dedicated lifting/exercise (5-6 days a week) and (relatively) healthy and balanced nutrition/diet. Happy to answer any questions I can because I wholeheartedly believe that this was the “missing link” to my fitness and wellness and can’t share enough about how well this has worked for me. And a huge shoutout to the accountability partners, friends, and fam supporting the journey too, you all are the real ones! 💯 #GLP1 #Zepbound #Mounjaro #Ozempic #Fitness
