Thank you, friends - we did it! We raised important funding for @letterscharity and @marshallreliefalliance for Altadena fire and Appalachian hurricane evacuees, supported the beautiful nonprofit public art center @compoundlbc and its excellent restaurant @unionlbc by the one and only @_eugenesantiago, boosted local gallery @opengallerylb, and convened @timelessdave, @kundaliniwithkelsea, @djdennisowens, @ralicke, @topeywan, @anna.bryant.art and @foam_kiwa while gathering community.

We used art, music, food, and wellness as common ground to better understand and help others. New friendships were made and others reconnected. Thank you to everyone who attended, promoted, purchased tickets/food/merch, made generous donations, and/or donated their talents or services! Sending much love and gratitude to everyone who came together in generosity to make this happen.💖

More than 5,000 Altadenans lost their homes in the Eaton Fire and 150,000+ Appalachians in Hurricane Helene. Please keep these communities on your donation radar in the years to come.🌲

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser event today for Altadena and Appalachia, whether as a musician, artist, meditation facilitator, attendee, or donor! Really happy people experienced beautiful @compoundlbc and @unionlbc and met or reconnected! Grateful we supported this nonprofit art center, Altadena and Appalachian charities, and artists. Most of these photos are from before or after the event, so a lot is missing. Please forward any photos you may have of yourself or Farmer Dave's sound bath, thanks! We sold out of screen printed totes, but some tees are still for sale at the Compound gift shop (open Thursday-Sunday). PLEASE DONATE - go to compoundlb.org/donate and type "May 17 event" in the comment section. Thank you, everyone!❤️ #artascommonground #appalachiastrong #altadenastrong

Today we give the floor to our good friend Scott Booth. On February 10, 2018 Scott survived a fatal helicopter crash in the Grand Canyon. The NTSB determined the cause of the accident to be loss of control due to Loss of Tail Rotor Effectiveness. For more information please refer to the official NTSB report. On this episode we wanted to give Scott the ability to share his story. It is one of courage, survival, and mental resolution. Today Scott shares his recollection of the accident, his recovery, his struggles, but most importantly his successes, and how music has aided in his mental recovery. He hopes to be an inspiration to anyone out there who has experienced extreme trauma, and shares a beautiful message of courage and strength. Thank you for trusting us with your story, we love you!

Ok. Here’s a story to tell..About 2 years ago I found my daughters fake ID while we were in Las Vegas visiting her dad at the hospital. I hid it in my purse until today. I wrote on envelope “I’ve had this for two years. Now You can have it back.” Happy 21st birthday Catalina. #fakeid #21stbirthday #shewillalwaysbemybaby

Scott Booth: Happy Birthday!!
I truly thank God for you for many reasons:
• For a healthy and peaceful friendship
• For being a wonderful dad to our daughter
• For being a great team with me as a co-parent
• For always checking on us. • For Allowing me to be a part of your family and you being a part of my family. You see, ALL things work together for good for those who love God who have been called according to His purpose. I pray that you will receive strength and hope in Jesus this year. Thru God, all things are possible.
I can’t wait to celebrate YOU today!
Love you my friend ♥️
