back from #gringomania with a tan and a butt full of sand. much love to @the_seagull_whisperer @thedisfunction @djmousenyc @joe.love.988 for all your help letting the slobs rip a quick set at la estacion. i ghettoed rigged a pedal board with two a/b/y splitters to send out three guitar signals (one thru a pog) to barely create what @buttonsmasher13 & @ryknowmurph91 add to the slobs. but that’s showbiz baby! and best of all, we got lil rudy to nyc, who’s up for adoption by @soulsofsatos go see all the lil ones and give them a home. see ya on the beach next year. #americanslobs #tanhalen #coqui #nevernotwet

Musicians will each be paired with live visuals performed by an incredible lineup of VJ friends working with both cutting edge & incredibly out dated technology. Downstairs will be set up with video installations and atmospheric records spun by twin beams @shugazi_______ and @midi_lizard.
.
1/3 of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to benefit the work of @preventionpointphiladelphia in their efforts to mitigate the effects of substance abuse and homelessness in our neighborhood.

We most likely crossed paths during the fever dream that was Thirsty Thursday Seaside Jack&Bills back in the day. But it wasn’t until April 12 2024 that I reconnected with @scottcantstop through mutual friend @unionpress.printing who was doing shirts for @weekendsupervision event in Asbury. Vibes were high full blown party mode in my favorite city and place that I’ve called home for 9 years plus.

Since that day, I’ve spread the gospel on what @weekendsupervision party is, it’s an immersive experience with the sound/visuals/crowd to match. It’s unlike any party I’ve been to in Asbury and each time I’ve spun pushes me to challenge myself and the audience, putting together a set to either build the energy in the room or know when peaking and lay down those tracks that I don’t bring out often, that only a crowd completely invested in partying/open mindedness will appreciate. Next chance to hear those specially curated tunes is this Wednesday 11/26 TGE it’s a @weekendsupervision take over at @dear_lovesick @lovehomesick I’ll be throwing down a vinyl set with one of my main homies @bangersnmashed who always matches the energy.

A lot of work goes into these parties, the speakers/sub @scottcantstop brings has completely changed my ears on sound, the work @glass0fmilk does behind the scenes with flyers/art/set up is top tier (also making best Halloween edit with @blaise86 with a quote that has been stuck in head since)

If you have been then you know the drill if not come experience a party like no other 🔊🔊🔊

Also big shout out to @kitas_lens who has down countless photography for events and does incredible job capturing energy and gave me some of my first professional pics, always thankful
