What a fun art filled day! We went to Spring City for their #pleinairpainting art weekend - so many fun people and lots of beautiful art!
The last two pics are a treehouse and an old outhouse with moss on the roof we saw. #springcityutah is a wonderful little artsy pioneer town. Very fun to walk around.
Then we drove home through Moroni and Fountain Green.
We live in a beautiful state.

In 78 days we rode our bicycles across America, from sea to shining sea. We endured arduous climbs and weightless descents. We explored hills and valleys, rivers and high plains. It was long, it was difficult, and in a heartbeat we would do it all over again.

The biggest lesson I learned, was that I struggle with pride: I want to do it all by myself and complete the task perfectly. But this journey was very imperfect and God humbled me every single day. I do not like asking for help, but I had to and it was given gladly. So many more of you, new friends and familiar friends, have the gift of anticipating needs. Many of you were busy or far away or strangers. You provided us with food, bicycle maintenance, shelter and ice cream! You donated not only to Miles for Smiles, but to my family as well.

This post is for you: I thought of you and thanked God for you with every pedal, every mile. You made this adventure possible. Thank you for your cheers, your prayers, your investment of time and love. If you had not been there, we would have given up in Virginia. So much went wrong, but now I see that it was in our struggles that we were greeted with the most kindness.

I would especially like to thank:

Good morning! It’s time for another introduction as part of #tonyascreativityproject
This is our good friend Scott who owns FourSquare ART @foursquareart22 - an online art gallery.

He is an art loving, artist promoting, all around happy friend. I love getting into conversations with him. He knows a lot about art, religion, and politics and he’s just fun to talk to. Here’s what he says about creativity:
“I love observing creation in all forms. I believe there is a real spiritual dimension to creativity. That spark, whether it’s the urge to paint, dance, write, sing, cook, knit, invent, construct, garden or any other expression of self, comes from a non-physical, non-mortal part of our being. It’s source is spiritual and each of us express it differently. Then, somehow, there’s the magic of connecting this internal inspiration to our arms, hands and fingers in the very physical act of painting and creating an actual piece of art. It really is amazing when you think about it. So, my attraction to the arts is rooted in fascination.
This quote by Elder Maxwell is also a favorite and is found on the back of my van, website and business cards: ‘When we rejoice in beautiful scenery, great art and great music, it is but the flexing of instincts acquired in another place and another time.’”
