Before Monster Energy had a worldwide Monster Girl program, it was way more grassroots than what you'd think..

We’d find girls at the track, then we would hit "MySpace" searching for girls in the area for the next race.

@scottsepkovic eventually met three girls from Canada who became the same three faces we’d see at race after race. These three girls worked almost every race and event back in 2006.

Then we got @kellylouch from the Connection involved, and she’s still running the Monster Girl program to this day.

Crazy to think how those early days at the track helped build what would eventually become a worldwide program for one of the biggest brands in action sports ❤️‍🔥🏁

36k per year, to 500k! 💰

@scottsepkovic has been involved in a lot of things that started with basically nothing… and turned into something that made serious money!

This is another example of what happens when you’re willing to get creative and actually put in the work.

The goal isn’t always to invent something brand new. Sometimes it’s about seeing what other people overlook.. liquidation, overstock, random products and figuring out how to turn it into cash.

Sounds crazy… until you start breaking down the process, testing ideas, finding the right products, and figuring out how to sell them.

There’s opportunity everywhere.

Sometimes the difference is simply being willing to look at something differently than everyone else 👀🔥

When Monster Energy first entered the motocross world, there wasn’t a red carpet waiting for us.

The industry didn’t immediately embrace the brand. We weren’t the title sponsor. We weren’t the biggest logo on the track. We had to earn every bit of attention.

So we got creative.

We bet on athletes before everyone else did. We showed up where others wouldn’t. We handed out stickers, built authentic relationships, supported the culture from the inside out, and found unconventional ways to make sure people couldn’t ignore the green claw.

That’s what real guerrilla marketing looks like.. not massive budgets, but relentless belief, calculated risks, and being present long before the spotlight arrives.

A few years later, the same brand that had to fight for recognition became the Title Sponsor of Supercross! 🏁

A reminder that the biggest brands aren’t built overnight. They’re built by showing up consistently, thinking differently, and refusing to quit when nobody’s paying attention.

From sneaking the product in, to using the product to get in!

Before Monster Energy became a household name, there was a gamble that changed everything.

At Monster’s very first X Games, @scottsepkovic showed up with $20,000 in cash. His plan? Pay athletes on the spot to run a Monster Energy sticker on their helmet and get the brand in front of millions of fans.

Riders like @tjlavin in BMX dirt @adamjones760 in FMX and @doug19henry in Supermoto were among the first to help put that iconic green claw in the spotlight. What seemed like a simple sticker deal became one of the earliest sparks that fueled Monster Energy’s rise in action sports, and a long relationship with these athletes that became one of their biggest paying sponsors for many years to come.

It’s stories like these that remind you how some of the biggest brands are built, not by chance, but by bold ideas and believing in the right people.

The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team wasn’t just winning races… they were changing the game with how dominant they were!

Their dominance helped put the Monster claw in front of millions of fans every weekend and played a huge role in the brand’s explosive growth during those years. Fast riders, iconic stylish bikes, an unforgettable look , and a team that set the standard.

If you were there, you already know… this was one of the greatest eras in motocross history.

It was cool to see that connection that @scottsepkovic helped bring together and played an important role in building the relationship between Monster Energy and Pro Circuit during such an iconic era of the sport. 💚🏁🏆
