12 years of legally blind parkour…

To be honest I didn’t really think this far ahead 😅 I just started training because I loved it and followed my heart

I started moving with @noahtonre in high school. Learned how to flip. Dropped out of college to pursue coaching and training, with the goal to become one of the best coaches in the country.

I humbly believe I have achieved that goal. Now I get to prove it by helping others :)

My visual impairment and journey with mental health through parkour have given me the perspective that there are many paths to the same goal.

I used my experiences to learn how to help others on the path, and my life has become a living, breathing testament to the TRUTH that limits are perceptions. You won’t know how far you can take something until you give it all you’ve got. If you know me, you know I give this game everything I’ve got.. and I’m rerun, it’s shaped who I am.

There are some out there that believe parkour is only meant to be one thing. I use my parkour to live a fulfilling life and inspire others to live one too, and that’s what I love about what I do. The art of overcoming obstacles is what you make it.

If I tagged you, you’ve been a huge part of this journey. Thank you for everything.
Parkour is a path through life. It’s the art of taking your own path. Thank you all for joining me on this path, and may the wisdom it gives you be infinite.

Step vault + dub full = parkour and freerunning 🧐

Movement Memory - TWJ 21 🤘

This was a crazy jam for so many reasons… iykyk

I had an @abq_boiz “I love you but will not hug you” shirt because of Covid 😂

My biggest lesson from this event is that you have to be in the right mental space at jams and gatherings or it can be really not fun, especially if you feel isolated. That’s a terrible feeling at jams, to be surrounded by people and feel isolated.
The good news is I also learned most parkour people are just as scared of you as you are of them; say hi and tell them you liked their [insert X movement here] and they’ll usually be your friend.

I don’t know what the heck I was on but this is probably when my double twisting was at a peak too… wild that I could send those 😁

I’d like to think I’ll be able to get back to this level and surpass it!

I wanted to put together some of the moments that shaped my competition journey the most.

Some of these aren’t my cleanest or most impressive tricks, but they’re the ones that pushed me, challenged me, and stuck with me.

Competing as a visually impaired athlete has always been a mix of adapting, trusting, and just sending it when it counts. Every one of these moments represents a different stage of that process. Honestly it’s kinda wild to look back on 😀

From traveling out of the country for the first time and realizing I was part of something bigger
To battling injuries and learning how to perform under pressure
To being challenged in ways that almost made me quit
And eventually finding my way onto a podium after years of showing up for the love of the game

There’s also the moments nobody saw (except @superlouie3 ) like landing a standing double B twist over concrete to make a statement… and having zero footage of it 😂

That’s what I love about competing. It forces you to grow in ways training alone never will.
And I hope I don’t sound salty about any of these, especially number 3. I wouldn’t change a thing about what happened and it made me stronger as a person, which is the whole point!

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I still feel like I’m just getting the hang of this :)

And if you’ve been following the journey, I appreciate you more than you know.

Let me know which moment was your favorite 👇

If you’re competing (or want to) but feel stuck, inconsistent, or in your head, I coach athletes online to build confidence, structure, and progress. DM me COMPETE and let’s talk.
