Played in the California Senior Amateur Championship qualifier at @twinoaksgc today. Played some solid golf today and earned a 12th place finish at +2 and a spot as the second alternate from this event to play in the Championships.

I had a great time today getting the competitive juices going again. Gonna have to play in some more events and work on my game to try for the U.S. Senior Amateur Championships next year!

Thank you to @scpga & @twinoaksgc for putting on a great event today! Congrats to the qualifiers and best of luck next month in the Championships!

This weekend I played in the SCGA JUNIOR AMATEUR at Morongo golf club the legends course. I finished in a tie for 8th shooting 77-73-69. First two days were shotgun and very windy conditions but glad with the outcome. I’d like to thank SCGA, the SCPGA, and Morongo golf club for an amazing tournament. On to the next🔜

The case for golf in California isn’t sentiment. It’s arithmetic.

Golf facilities use less than 1 percent of the potable water consumed statewide — a figure that falls every year. Golf courses hold just 3.5 percent of California’s turfgrass. Twenty-three percent of the state’s courses are publicly owned — golf for everyone. And the game is a billion-dollar industry supporting jobs, charity rounds, and communities across the state.

When CAG walks into a hearing room, these are the numbers on the table.

Part 4 - The Southern California PGA 2026 Senior Division: Players Championship was played at Sterling Hills Golf Club on October 7th and 8th, 2026. We were very happy to host this tournament this year. There were 60 players participating in the two-day tournament. The event had some warm weather, and it was a shotgun start on both days. The players are PGA professionals from many different golf clubs and golf facilities from all around Southern California. Many came from far distances of Southern California in order to play in this tournament. There were private and public golf courses represented. Some were life members of the association. It was a successful event, and again Sterling Hills Golf Club was thrilled to host this tournament. Part 4. #thesterlingstandard #venturacounty #camarillo #golfclub #golftournament
