Sustainable livelihood is one of the core focus areas of Samhita. India has the largest population of youths in the world, yet they make up 40% of total unemployment. There is a need to provide the youths with employable skills so that they may be empowered to chart the course of their life and flourish professionally. Samhita’s implementation and skilling partners like LEARNET, FICSI, SCPwD, ICT Academy, Logistic Skill Council and many more have been important in leading the efforts in youth skilling, from providing education and training facilities to introducing the labour market. Samhita is appreciative of the work they do to give disadvantaged youths access to salable skill sets. #WorldYouthSkillsDay
