The car is finished! Well... ish.
Ran out of injector brutally short of what the engine is capable of turning, but we're now cramming 12psi into this pig. Safe on timing, but it'll need substantially more injector to get anywhere near redline. Just about 700whp and over 700lb-ft just getting into the cam's power band 😳 excited to see what it'll do with the right fueling, a ported head unit, and maybe a step down in pulley size 👀
Hopefully I'll be able to go pick it up this week and start to enjoy it for the year 😁

Major stonks 📈

Ran into an issue with my old original SLP headers fitting with the @417motorsports tubular K-member. Thankfully, @scram_speed has those good contacts and was able to secure me a set of fancy new @stainless_works GTO headers! Also had no idea that they were SW dealers too, but I learned something today 😂

Haven't really seen a ton of documentation on what headers will fit this K ( since many run turbo setups with them), so now we know they'll fit! Later this year, I'll be finding out if my planned AC compressor setup will hit the header primary on #2 like it had with the SLP headers, but we're already off to a MUCH better start 😁

More things I've drooled over for years.. first time ever seeing one of these K-members in person with a couple neat distinctions. Firstly, if you opt for the skid plate, it's all integrated and doesn't use a factory style bolt on plate. Secondly are the badass engraved little saddle brackets for the sway bar mounts (if you opt for them). Weirdly, they mount the bushings upside down in comparison to the factory way. Again, a big thanks to @scram__speed as always for handling the logistics of helping to order it 🙌 as of now, I have no plans of putting a Tubular rear in unless that's something either 417 or Scram put into production 🤷‍♂️

Like a glove 🧤 need to figure out is hoses since the LSA pump has different positions for the outlet, and though the @deraleperformance shroud that @scram__speed worked some magic on bought some more space, it's a pretty tight fit.

Interrupting the Impala broadcast for the normally scheduled GTO stuff 😅 need to do a little more cleaning, installed the new Innovators West dampener and @metcomotorsports 9.1" lower I picked up from @boostdistrict , and tossed in new seals, front cover, and a cam sensor from @scram__speed . Scored some Impala parts yesterday and picking some small stuff up today 😁
