Remember that guy I used to shoot photos with, Cody Seemann (@screamincmon)? He's retired now, and I'm desperate for athletes. So I've moved on to the next best thing. His nephew.

Fortunately for me, Cody's brother is my neighbor. So I'm going to spend the rest of winter working with this Olympic hopeful. Or maybe we'll keep feeding him nachos and let him develop some good core memories of skiing, so we'll always have a buddy to chase around the hill.

Admittedly, I miss working with uncle Coco (last pic). Hopefully I can drag him out of retirement this winter

A little bluebird told us there’s nothing like the warmth of a sauna after a day on the slopes 🏔️❄️⛷️

With West Coast ski resorts opening early this season, it’s the perfect time to pair your skiing adventures with the cozy embrace of a barrel sauna.

Turkey Tom and the Snow Ghosts

Whitefish, Montana has been courted by the megapass companies—the Ikon, Epic, Indy Pass, etc. Yet the resort has continued to swipe left, and in the process has kept intact a culture that includes quirky underground events, a pirouetting skiing turkey-man, and deep, untouched powder runs. Through it all, Whitefish has remained profitable and reasonably priced. A solvent, independent destination resort offering a unique product at an affordable price is an outlier in today’s ski resort landscape. But could it also be the future? Read more in Turkey Tom and the Snow Ghosts in the 2025 Powder Magazine Photo Annual. Only in print, and available now on newsstands and at Powder.com.
