I’ve mainly been filming construction and social media content for the past couple years and sometimes I get excited about a new project that I’m not even hired to film but I have to film it haha
I pass by the new @screaminggoatyardsa often and I’m so excited to check out this place once it’s open. I didn’t see a ton of info on it out there so I stopped by to film the progress. Enjoy!

One of the Hill Country’s most popular hangouts is getting closer to opening its first San Antonio location.

Screaming Goat Yard & Tap is bringing its signature mix of live music, Southern-inspired food, cold drinks, outdoor gathering spaces, and yes… actual goats… to Northwest San Antonio near UTSA Loop 1604. The concept first opened in Spring Branch and has built a loyal following for its laid-back atmosphere, family-friendly vibe, and unique outdoor experience.

Construction is still underway, but the new location is already starting to take shape.

When both of your kids have August birthdays, you start looking at celebrations a little differently.

A few years ago, we traded birthday parties for family adventures, and honestly, it’s become one of our favorite traditions.

This year we packed up and headed to San Antonio. We spent our days exploring the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort, visiting the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, stopping by The Screaming Goat Yard & Tap, and making time for museums and family fun along the way.

The older my kids get, the more I realize I’m not trying to create the perfect birthday.

I’m trying to create a memorable childhood.

And while there’s absolutely nothing wrong with birthday parties, these trips have given us something I value even more: uninterrupted time together, shared experiences, and memories we’ll talk about long after the decorations would have been packed away.
