So this is my reaching out there theory for #lanterns.
The one thing that keeps standing out to me is John’s bird construct. He held it for so long without the ring on.
I believe I saw someone else bring this up on a YouTube video, and I did remember a comics storyline as well where Hal didn’t have a ring anymore. He went to fight a person who was wielding one wearing manhunter armor. He fought with all his might, but was shot with the rings power. Enough to obliterate him, but his will power absorbed the energy and he formed his own ring on his finger. A green lantern with a ring not created by the guardians. I could be getting some of that wrong, but I recall that at least.
My theory is that this is what could happen to John and how he gets his own ring separate from Guy Gardner.

Just saw Hope in theaters (King of Prussia, 9/12/26) 🎬 — full spoiler-free breakdown. The action sequences and car chases are genuinely excellent, and Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender bring real star power. But at 242 minutes, the film overstuffs itself with alien-invasion set pieces at the expense of character development — by the end I barely knew who these people were beyond the surface. The CG on the alien creatures doesn’t quite match the budget, and a few physics-defying survival moments pull you out of the movie. Clearly built as the first in a planned series.
🌟 My Score: 70% 🍅 Critics: 80% 🍿 Audience: 79% ⭐️ IMDb: 6.9 Ⓜ️ Metacritic: 66

Hollywood is back in Glasgow. The Batman 2 has been filming for a few weeks now.
It's not looking great for the caped crusader.
Recent sneak peaks show the batmobile a bit battered. And more.....
