We’re heading North! . Entries for the Pan Celtic Ultra 2027 have only been open a short while, and already the Clan is gathering muster . Familiar names, new faces, riders returning for another adventure and others preparing to take on their very first Pan Celtic . To everyone who’s already committed, thank you. We don’t take that faith in what we’re building for granted. And to those still thinking about it, we’d love to have you along . Yr GODODDIN ~ HEN OGLEDD 2027 . Next year we’re heading North. Into the ancient kingdoms, through the borderlands and across some of the most beautiful and overlooked corners of Britain. There’ll be wild coastlines, lonely roads, ancient places, some questionable weather and, inevitably, a few hills that will have you wondering why you ever signed up . There’ll also be those little moments that make it all worthwhile. A sunrise after a long night. A conversation with a stranger. Finding another Pan Celtic rider sitting outside a petrol station at two in the morning, looking just as bewildered as you. That’s the stuff we love . We’ve always believed the Pan Celtic should be about more than getting from A to B as quickly as possible. It’s about the places you pass through, the people you meet and the stories you bring home . Recent years have seen wheels with wavy rim profiles and scale-like surface textures as brands look for creative ways to add stability without undermining speed. For Northern Ireland-based wheelbuilder Scribe, the answer lies in the spokes. Unlike most carbon fibre spokes, the spokes on Scribe’s Élan Ultra 5 wheels aren’t flat and smooth but are gently crimped along their length, hence the name OSL8 (oscillate, geddit?). The aim is to provide the weight and strength benefits of carbon spokes while also offering compliance closer to a steel spoke and, most importantly, aerodynamic advantages over flat-bladed spokes, especially in sidewinds. 🔗 Link in bio to read our Scribe Élan Ultra 5 review 📸 @mike__massaro ✍️ @lmrk89 #roadcycling #roadbiking #scribewheels #bikewheels #roadbikes

The Night Stage ~ Own The Night 🌙 . . There’s something truly special about riding gravel after dark. Familiar trails take on a different feel, the world gets a little quieter, and every twist in the trail becomes that bit more interesting . The Night Stage is one of the defining moments of the Pan Celtic Gravel Rally. A chance to put your lights and self navigation to the test, find your rhythm and experience the trails in a completely different way . Proudly supported by long term race partner Exposure Lights, whose lighting helps riders take on the darkness and keep moving when the sun goes down . This is gravel riding with a different perspective. Same trails, different challenge . Lights on. Game on . . #WeWhoGravelHaveStoriesToTell #PanCelticGravelRally #TGR #TheRally #TheGravelRally2027 . . Entries are OPEN ~ Link in bio ~

The Rally . . Whether you’re here for the results or just here for the good times, the Pan Celtic Gravel Rally format will have you grinning from ear to ear and reaching for that gel (or huffing and puffing and breathing out of holes you didn’t know you had!) . Our timed sectors give you the perfect excuse to put the hammer down, test your legs and see what you’re made of. But between the start and finish of each sector, it’s all about settling into the adventure, soaking up the scenery and enjoying the ride with mates! . Race hard, ride steady, chase a personal best or simply enjoy the freedom of Eryri National Park. There’s no right or wrong way to take on the Rally! . The clock might stop at the end of a sector, but the good times never do. 🤘 .
