@scribestoday shares his poem “an awakening” in Issue 5 of our Literary Anthology, themed “To Be a Living Ancestor”.

Reading “an awakening” feeling like being in the non-linearity of a dream. It’s odd. It’s precise. It’s emotional. It’s visual. It’s memory. It’s hope. It’s yearning. And having. Plus, this poem is dedicated to the poets parents.

R. Joseph’s contribution adds a layer of reality warping to our collective exploration of what it means to be a Living Ancestor. Poetry seems to be an honest and accessible way to explore this warping , so thank you @scribestoday for offering your poetry to our platform.🙏🏾

Everyone can find “an awakening” in Issue 5 of our publication, through our bio link. Leave a comment if you please, and enjoy.✨

Blessings…
