Check out @scrimpledore pairing our pink & blue heritage tie dye long sleeve training top with our purple & fluro pink camo socks for her Friday long run. Lana gave her new top a good test of 11 solid miles whilst working on her nutrition/fuelling before fitting in a yoga class to her morning too!

Lana says "It matches my NCRC socks perfectly, is ideal for the cooler temperatures and also think it looks wicked! I LOVE it so much"

We will have a full sock restock coming next month, including these sold out ones Lana is wearing so get yourself a pair then! Well done on an epic morning of movement Lana! We're glad you're a fan of the top, thank you for the kind words, the support and for sharing!

It’s fair to say that the awesome @destinationruncoaching crew turned out and tore up the streets of London today. 💪🏼

Cannot wait until next year to do it all again. 😊

DRC ladies doing the business in Chicago and Richmond #medalmonday …two unusual set of circumstances and these ladies definitely stepped up!

Fresh from her marathon PB in London @scrimpledore landed in Chicago with a plan to “run to feel” as two marathons in 8 days is not recommended but Covid forced our hand.

RESULT??? Another significant PB. 3.39 (2020) to 3.35 (2022) to 3.32!!! Astonishing effort, a Boston Marathon qualifier and a well deserved rest coming up!

Emma has had the most unfortunate luck this year but that all changed at the weekend. Struck down with Covid a week before Brighton Marathon, followed immediately by a serious stomach virus meant she couldn’t train for over a month. Marathon ready for Richmond and then it gets cancelled due to the Queen’s death. 3rd time lucky with the rearranged race and our aspiration was to go sub 4 meaning she’d need to take a huge chunk off her 4.18 PB.

RESULT??? 3.59.11 a shiny new PB by 19 minutes!!!

The @destinationruncoaching community couldn’t be more proud and we wish these wonderful ladies a restful fortnight before we start planning again.

WEEKEND ROUND-UP #2

@bostonmarathon 🦄

🏅Lana achieved the Boston qualifier a little while back having run back to back PB’s in London and Chicago. The lead up to Boston was a rollercoaster with hamstring issues and a Half Marathon PB in the mix. A superb first half put her in striking distance of her PB of 3.32. We knew the course was hilly, especially in the second half and when the sun came out to play it was a case of getting to that finish line in one piece. A slower second half was always on the cards with the hills and heat so to have achieved 3.52 and get that medal she never even dreamed of winning means we are so proud and grateful for all her hard work to inspire others in the training group.

🏅Harry came to DRC with the goal of finishing Boston quicker than he did in Paris last April (2:43:05). A year on and 3 1/2 months focused build to this one, we knew that a sub-2:40 clocking was on the cards and based his fuelling and pacing strategy on that. With the hilliest part of the course being between miles 16-21, we knew that training and our strategy had to ‘flatten’ those hills as much as we could to allow for a strong finish in the final kms, which we were able to do. It’s fair to say that Harry was absolutely ‘on-course’ the whole way and kicked hard in the last .2miles to finish in 2:39:52 - a new PB!

WE COULDN’T BE PROUDER OF THESE TWO!! 🥳🙌🏻

Yesterday was a very special day. I feel so lucky 🍀.

When this little girl comes along the biggest lesson I can teach her is romantic love comes in time. Focus on choosing your female friendships. Choose girls that are better than you, kinder, smarter and funnier. Stick with them like glue whilst you all grow and become women with your own lives. Celebrate them. Let them build you up and love them back fiercely. They are your village.

Thank you to those that came yesterday and those that couldn’t. I love you all every day ❤️
