Colour shifting, heavily marled yarns often get all the attention. But for me the subtle tonal handspuns are some of my favourite. There is such great depth to the colour, and they are often easier to use in a project. This yarn is spun from two hand blended batts by @scrumptious_ewe .

Finding the perfect yarn for someone ELSE is a challenge, so stick with notions for the win. This gift guide is conveniently shareable, subtly taggable 😉 , and full of the good stuff 👌. And it’s genuinely based on what folks have been buying as gifts or said “I’ll put that on my wish list”. ✨

What would you add to your list? Tag your loved ones below (jk unless 👀).

My haul from @100milefleeceandfibre

Two lots of @humming_bee_farm natural yarns, they were a show special, 100% Vancouver Island wools, Romney, Corriedale, and Shetland blend. A heavy worsted batch and a lopi style chunky collection of 5 shades.

A couple of drop dead gorgeous 😍 indigo hand dyed mohair/silk skeins just sort of fell into my bag. 😂

There was also a bag of linens and threads from @raveledsleave a gift for my daughter.

All in all a wonderful event and with so many options.
