A little light in a whole lot of darkness. ✨

It’s awfully dark out here tonight. But even in the deepest darkness, a little light can go a long way.

Life isn’t always sunshine and clear skies. There are seasons of uncertainty, moments of fear, and nights that seem to stretch on longer than we ever imagined.

But darkness has never meant that God is absent.

Even when the path ahead is difficult to see, His light remains. Steady, unwavering, and never beyond our reach.

And sometimes, the smallest glimmer of hope is enough to remind us that the darkness doesn’t get the final word.

As for me? I’m shining a little light on another corner of SCV. Think you can find me?

✝️ A little Word for the road:

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

John 1:5 (NIV)

The property owner told authorities the home was being used as an Airbnb and initially believed nobody was supposed to be staying there.

After investigating, deputies determined there had been a miscommunication between the owner and the guests renting the property. No burglary had occurred.

🥩 END OF AN ERA IN STEVENSON RANCH

After nearly 30 years, the Outback Steakhouse on The Old Road is set to close its doors in roughly two weeks. The location has been serving Stevenson Ranch since March 1997.

Its closure comes as several other longtime west-side businesses have recently shut down or announced plans to close.

Another familiar SCV spot saying goodbye. 👋

Did you ever eat at this Outback? 👇

A real special Thanks to all the firefighters that have been fighting the Bike Fire yesterday. All these shots were taken within a half hour time span and the thunderous sounds of the helicopters above the store was a reminder to all of us that you are all protecting us! Thank You!!
