June summed up how the first half of 2026 has been — full of surprises, fleeting moments, rituals to stay grounded, the people I’d do anything for. Grateful for how things turned out so far 🌱 1-4: Work things 💼✨ It has been such an eventful first month 5: We got some VIPs to join us to celebrate @grace_ng94’s birthday 🎂 She has the CCCCCAOGN title for a reason 6-8: Celebrating two of the few people who made my Melbourne chapter what it is 😍 Congrats @scyleryang & @thegirlinbetween! Also Scy you can sing so bloody well?! 9: Another month of shuttling in and out of the hospital 😔 10: I can’t run away from my problems but I can run happy, sad, tired, angry, you name it 🏃🏻‍♀️ 11: Something I’ve done diligently this year is hypertrophy exercise. My physiotherapist should be proud I didn’t fight him on this (for the first time) 🤣 12: Attempted box jump for height at 24” for someone with a fear of heights. Just look at how scared I am 🌚 13: Weekly therapy & mood adjuster 💥🥊 14: Who knows why my eyes are glued to the screen reading combos for a new round when my brain is barely processing them 🤷🏻‍♀️ @danial_pepper had to call me out

On totes, tables, menus, seating charts, even painted onto guest portraits! ✍️ Our personal favourite was the draw-your-face guestbook. Friends and family had so much fun drawing themselves 🥸, and our newlyweds got a meaningful memento filled with the faces of everyone they love. 🚲 The snack bike also had two lives, carrying childhood snacks during the guest arrival, then flowers by the end of dinner. We turned it into a flower bar as we packed up their wedding flowers for guests to take home! 🪻 🀄️ Massive mahjong tiles used as table numbers. Like little Easter eggs, you could find real mahjong tiles tucked between flowers and fruit, even hand-glued onto the seating chart by the wonderful team at @littleoncedeco. 🤍 We loved that we had mahjong details everywhere, yet it never felt like a mahjong party. So intricately woven, so thoughtfully styled. All the beautiful details for Marsha and Jong Yiing, we couldn’t have done it without the whole team! #MarJong2026 Couple @thegirlinbetween @scyleryang Planner @eventistrymalaysia Photography @jessielyee_ Videography @the.90sfilms MUA @suyenpangartistry Decor @littleoncedeco Emcee @yourhostmarcustan Live Portrait @art.sophiangstudio Catering @canapecateringkl Nyonya Kuih & Cake @d_fine_catering Bar @bucoliccatering Venue @glasshouseatseputeh

Just a man and his guitar, serenading the love of his life. 🧡 “I’ll do 15 mins max,” Jong Yiing told us, and it became a full 30-min set, five songs, from english to mandarin, even entertaining everyone with jokes and stories in-between! Without a rehearsal or soundcheck, it was the most laidback, impromptu, unplugged performance, and he had the whole room (even us vendors) singing along to every word. The groom WAS the band that night, and he absolutely stole the show! 👏👏👏 #MarJong2026 Couple @thegirlinbetween @scyleryang Planner @eventistrymalaysia Photography @jessielyee_ Videography @the.90sfilms MUA @suyenpangartistry Decor @littleoncedeco Emcee @yourhostmarcustan Live Portrait @art.sophiangstudio Catering @canapecateringkl Nyonya Kuih & Cake @d_fine_catering Bar @bucoliccatering Venue @glasshouseatseputeh

Portraits of loved ones, illustrated live at #marjong2026 ✍️. Some sat patiently and watched the whole process, while others snapped a photo, left it with the artists, and went off to enjoy the night. But the best part was seeing everyone’s reaction when they finally received their portraits! ✨ Admiring all the little details. Hair, outfits, and even their posture, captured in a piece of art to remember the day by. 🥹 We just love a meaningful gift with a personal touch. Huge shoutout to the amazingly talented artists at @art.sophiangstudio who worked their magic for hours! 🧡 Couple @thegirlinbetween @scyleryang Planner @eventistrymalaysia Live Portrait @art.sophiangstudio Venue @glasshouseatseputeh #livepainting #liveportrait #guestportraits #liveillustration

Thank you, Marsha and Jong Yiing, for trusting us with these special moments. CNY HOT POT BBQ: Part 2 — the party 🧧🔥 The plan in my head: ✨ beautifully set table ✨ everything ready by 6pm ✨ calm, composed host energy Reality: 6:30pm… still frying garlic oil in the kitchen and hadn’t even showered yet 😂 nothing is set, forgot to remind friends to bring things I needed. We also didn’t have the usual trolley, so it turned into a full community effort — everyone helping carry plates, and food from my apartment down to the BBQ area. Friends running to buy gas canisters for the hot pot burner 😂 By the time everything was set up, @scyleryang was on the grill, people were yelling HUAT AH for yee sang, and the yuzu highballs started flowing. Not exactly how I planned it. But 10/10 chaos, would host again. Thank you friends for making this possible! If you saw Part 1 – the prep, you already know how ambitious the menu was 😅 . . . . #CNY2026 #HotPotParty #FoodieDinner #HomeHosting #HuatAh

Impromptu dinner with Nick cooking his family recipes for us: Hakka Potato Chicken, Onion Omelette, and Pork Bites. Viv also made Bun Rieu. So good to catch up with old friends and seeing everyone get along. I am blessed with friendship ♥️

Viv had her hen's planned for a month, I wasn't going to do anything for a bucks but in 24 hours I roped in these jokers to come and have a bit of sake with me and it was a good time after a full day of playing MtG🥰 No notes, very grateful
