Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes, texts, calls, and messages! 💜

Today I celebrated my 41st Birthday!

The last 40 years have not been easy. There have been many seasons of waiting, testing, preparation, and refinement.

Often the Bible compares our lives to the refining of silver. If you didn’t know, a silversmith places silver into the hottest spot in the fire so the impurities can be removed. The fire isn’t there to destroy the silver. It’s there to purify it. But how does the silversmith know when the refining is complete? He knows when he can see his own reflection in the silver. This paints a beautiful picture of what God is doing in us. Through every trial, every delay, and every season of waiting, He is shaping us to reflect more of Him.

41 is my new season; refined and more reflective than ever. A season full of blessings 🙌🏻. That doesn’t mean life now becomes easy; life is never easy. But I know that whatever God has been preparing me for will be worth it. I am truly excited and looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me in this next season.

Thank you again for all the love and birthday wishes. May God bless each of you, and I hope you all have a happy and safe 4th of July! 🇺🇸

*And a special thanks to @sherwood_rome for a great fireworks show tonight! @ScyllaRae had a blast 😄

Four years ago today, this tiny littly husky pup was born. Then 10 weeks later God sent her to me, right when I needed her most.

When people describe their dogs they will say things like:

Loyal.
Compassionate.
Best Friend.
A little demanding sometimes too, lol.

I don’t think it’s no accident that we call our little fur angels Dogs, for their love mirrors the same love that God has for us.

If I were to describe the relationship that God wants with his children, it’s no different than the relationship we have with our soul dogs.

When Scylla looks at me, she doesn’t see my flaws. She doesn’t see my bad days.
She just sees me and she loves me unconditionally. I am the most important thing to her and she to me.

If that isn’t a glimpse of how God loves us, I don’t know what is. So next time you look into your Dogs eyes just know that God is looking back and desires that same love and relationship with you.

GOD = DOG (Mirrored)

Happy 4th Birthday to my little fur-baby. You are the sweetest reminder of Heaven and the bestest gift a girl could ask for. 💜

Happy 3rd Birthday to the fluffiest, most dramatic, and funniest pup—Scylla! 🎉 Three years of fur floating around the house, three years of stubborn sassiness, and three years of making every moment count. Whether she’s zooming around, fussing at me to close my computer, or demanding treats like the Queen she she is… life wouldn’t be the same without her. 💜 I Love You @scyllarae

👻🎃 Happy Halloween from Wonderland! 🕰️🎩

This year, I went Halloween Mad… Mad Hatter, that is! And by my side was my ever-watchful White Rabbit (aka Scylla), leading the way through our haunted home. 🐰✨

This year, we brewed up a cauldron of “Witches” Stew, Monster Apple Pies, and Burnt Eyeball Cupcakes (because, obviously, it’s not Halloween without our own frightfully good treats!)

Guests who dared to visit were greeted with colorful lights, sugary treats, and ghostly chips. If we didn’t see you this year, we hope to see you next Halloween! 💀🍬

Until next time, stay curious… and a little mad! 😈✨

Happy 2nd Birthday to my fearless ‘partner in crime’ and the heart of our home! 💜

Our living room has become our very own wrestling ring, where you always emerge as the champion, and our bed, your kingdom, where you lay claim to every inch.

I hope you loved your special breakfast at @EggsUpRome and your birthday dinner at @truetts_chick_fil_a_rome , not to mention all the delicious snacks we shared in between.

It’s not just about marking another year; it’s about celebrating the joy, the playful tussles, and the countless moments that define our unique bond. Here’s to more adventures, shared treats, and maybe, just maybe, a little more room for me on the bed lol. I hope your day has been as wonderful as you make every day for me.

@ScyllaRae - I love you to the moon and back - Happy Birthday baby girl!!! 🥳🥰🎉
