I fell in love this year

what I REALLY meant to say was is I fell in love with this year. This year was extraordinary for me.

the idea of the year “ending” and coming to close isn’t even possible in my mind. This year was prequel to what I know I can expand on in 2026. Because it’s not like life TOTALLY changed on January 1st 2026. I still wear the same clothes, brush my teeth the same, and still have a crooked back. But what events concurred in 2025 changed me in unfathomable amount of ways.

First off coming in to the new year having 2024 be the worst year of my life (cheated on, lost job 3x, broken down into a million pieces yada yada you remember the lore) just makes this even more sweeter. I kept my head held high worked my ass off. Kept my priorities straight and truly looked for people who aligned with me.

Cultivation community connection and love and friendship are the best way ways to describe this year (if I had to pick a few)
I wish I could make 1000 posts about this year just says a historical note of how much this year healed me. I made so many new friends through trying new things. I deepened my connections by investing in people who aligned with my goals and values. And I tried so many new things for the first time.

2025 RECAP-ITS FINALLY OVER

Technically...we are still in the year of the 🐍, but we sure did shed our old skin and have some truths revealed! 2025 started off prosperous at first, but towards the end, everything about my life changed instantly. It was a year of tower moments, losses, death, and grief. But it was also full of beautiful moments, the most professional and personal growth, the greatest shows and festivals of my life, and WORSHIP ROCKS?! That is forever in my SOUL! Planning it for a whole year with some of my most cherished friends made it truly the best experience of my life so far! @worshipartists 🙏

It was never a one-time thing for me. Taking that journey meant it was the beginning of having a life FULL of experiences like this. I knew it was opening up my world to all the other amazing life adventures still waiting for me.

So although it's already the new year, I dedicate 2025 to the friends who stuck around during the most transformative time. Now were in a new era, with so much potential for growth. Theres already some great opportunities for GlowCaps to expand and become something more. I can't wait to share it with you all!

To any friends I've met along the way, we made it through what was absolutely a test of our resilience. Community keeps us strong together, so let's build something unshakable this year! I ended the year being sick, but all that means is a new version of self is being born. (But also, that new years flu was wack)

Best. Birthday. Ever.

I was RACKING my brain around what I wanted to do for my birthday a few months ago.

So I pondered and I thought to myself what has this year felt like to me. The best way I could insulate it is friendship, connectivity, play, community, and overwhelming amount of love.

Then I thought “this year felt like we were kids like it was summer camp”

And so the idea of camp Carley blossomed.

I wanted camp Carley to be a full COMMIT TO THE BIT, fully thought out, playful, silly, engaging and connective experience for myself and my friends. So over the past two months I worked behind the scenes, creating custom T-shirts for the winners of camp CARLEY, planning out specific games that I felt were representations of me, and of course because I wanted us to go to again I created some goodie bags for all of my best friends who have attended.

I was a bit nervous it was over the top but with COUNTLESS reassuring moments from my friends. I knew it was gonna be a blast.

and boy oh boy did my friends show the FUCK up.

My god I wish I could encapsulate the feeling in a bottle from this weekend. It felt like my heart cup was just flowing over and I couldn’t keep the happy tears away. Like we get it OOEYGOOEY BLAH BLAH BLAH- BUT LIKE THIS SHIT MATTERS. After having one of the hardest years of my life last year to feeling like I have the strongest group beside me. Makes me even more appreciative of these people. Your community matters. Your support group matters and they will guide you in the right direction and they will ALWAYS make you feel like you belong. I feel more than just authentic and real around my friends. I feel raw like my laughs are harder and my cry’s are deeper. BE PROUD TO BE OOEYGOOEY ABOUT YOUR PEOPLE IDK I FKN LOVE THEM MAN

And the biggest shout outs to my besties @madisonmoravec @hensley0130 for being the best camp counselor a girl could ask for. Without the help I generally do not know if I could’ve run camp Carley at all by myself. I LOVE YALL SO MUCH.
