@sdmjohnson exactly one year ago today. That was a miserably wet and cold hike in and if I remember correctly. You lost a couple toenails and yours truly had an attack of the gout. 😅 damn that was fun! #patienlywaiting #havasupaifalls #getoutside #brothaman #getoffgrid

After a serious push, late nights, and lots of hard, dirty work; we’ve finished patching, grinding, and sealing the floors on 5,000sq. ft. of the space. Should have no problem rolling carts around and cleaning up in the shop now! Well worth it!! Big thanks to @scardare for coming in and hustling while maintaining a smile! -

Some highlights from an awesome dovetail class @alliedwoodshop this weekend. Many donuts were consumed, much coffee was guzzled, Everyone had a great time, and there was success all around! Thanks to @sdmjohnson for the awesome teaching help!

@sdmjohnson one of our former students now shopmate has been turning, pun intended, out a bunch of awesome stuff and has even recently added turning to his repertoire. The wood in the two fore ground ring boxes is allepo pine. The table is spalted maple. They were sourced from our friends @angelcitylumber

A little departure from the usual. Called in by robotics extraordinaire @sdmjohnson to erect and plumb some large machine enclosure walls. What do these machines do? Oh not much, they just make parts for extraterrestrial vehicles. 🔭👨🏽‍🚀👽🤖 #shoptech #havetoolswilltravel #jackofalltradesmasterofnone #shopmatesarethebestmates
