It was a perfect day to celebrate the Grand Reopening of the Cottonwood Field Station last Friday. The day brought together many neighbors of the field station, vendors who helped bring the update to life, local leaders who championed the project and SDSU faculty and staff who are utilizing and conducting important research there. 🐂

Recent renovations expanded the station’s ability to support livestock and rangeland research. Improvements include a monoslope building and feedlot, updated cattle-handling facilities, a multipurpose meeting and educational space and wet-lab capabilities adjacent to the animal working area.

Thank you to everyone who made this reopening possible. We can’t wait for what’s ahead!🎉 A group of people standing behind the ribbon cutting of the SDSU Cottonwood Field Station.

Thank you to our amazing donors! 🌾

To every donor who gave during One Day for STATE, thank you! Your generosity to the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences fuels student scholarships, hands-on research and the next generation of leaders in agriculture, food systems and environmental science.

Because of you, our students have access to opportunities that shape their futures and strengthen the communities they'll go on to serve. Every gift, big or small, made a real difference today.

From all of us in CAFES — thank you for believing in our mission and investing in our students.💙💛
