A hike with our favorite guy on Father’s Day! All the rain and schedule changes we have had up here, led to us having a day off today and we spent it well before he had to leave us to go back home! Shad is the most loyal and hardest working guy we know. He works tirelessly for us and always figures out a way, no matter what it is. He’s the best coach, best dad to our kids and my best friend and we are thankful everyday for him! Thank you for loving us the way you do and for being you! 🩵 We love you so big!

Being their mom is my favorite. A Mother’s Day weekend well spent with my whole crew all together was what my heart needed! 🩷

Proud is beyond an understatement of what these boys did today. They went 0-2 yesterday in pool play in 2 close games and landed themselves the bottom seed for today starting at 8 am. 12 hours later we are headed home runners up after losing an extra innings battle in the championship game. These 10 boys fought as hard as they could all day and left it all on the field. They played where they were needed and played such great defense. They each had big moments at the plate and in the field and have nothing to be ashamed of headed home.

Cannot get over this sneak peek of our girl. 😭 Greer felt like such a princess getting to be a flower girl for Caleigh and Dalton and there are so many moments that we will treasure forever from this day. Speechless from this photo. 🩷🩷

The original 3 ➡️ family of 7 🩷
The 3 of us started out together. Dalton was 4 when Shad and I started dating, 7 when we got married, 9 when he became a big brother for the first time, 12 the next time, and 17 the last time. 🙃So the 3 of us have done a lot of life and growing together. I had no idea what I was doing becoming a wife and parent all at the same time, but we rolled with it and life kept on life-ing. It wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows by no means, but here we all still are, and continuing to grow our family by adding in Caleigh as the most perfect addition.

Watching them with their friends this weekend was so special. I didn’t know Caleigh’s bridesmaids until now, but seeing all the groomsmen up there together, had Shad and I in our feels too. Those boys have something special and have been in each other’s lives for a very long time. And they are growing up and helping to still encourage each other in this next chapter of life. And I loved seeing that this weekend. Making sure your children have the right people in their corner means so very much. There is a lot of peace in knowing that, and this weekend was proof that Dalton and Caleigh have the right people in theirs.

This weekend was beyond perfect and I will have many more posts to come! 🤍 (sorry in advance)

A weekend of full hearts. 🩷 Celebrating Caleigh becoming a Stephens at a beautiful shower yesterday morning, heading to Thomasville to watch Greer compete in her gymnastics meet, Sunday morning church and then enjoying this beautiful weather (finally) with Greer getting some more practice in! 🩷
And overall she had a great meet! She keeps making improvements that are adding up. She medaled on vault coming in 3rd with a 8.70 💪🏼 and she keeps getting higher scores on floor, this time with a 8.825, which is her highest so far! That 9 is so close she can taste it! Ironically, the only event she scored over a 9 on, was a last place finish on bars. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Gymnastics scoring can be wild 😂

It’s been 4 years since the last time we had family pictures taken, and Shad still tried to get out of us doing this by telling me we have lots of family pictures from the baseball fields 😂 But my precious friend @carmensimpsonphoto did an amazing job with these and there are SO many good ones that we will treasure forever! ❤️

Baseball ended last weekend just in time to start Greer’s 1st gymnastics competition season competing as Xcel Silver! She kicked it off with our home meet and got her nerves out of the way. She’s got a tough road ahead of her, but she’s up for the challenge and was ready to come home and practice more. She had zero falls today, but had a few areas she already knew she wanted to work on before we ever even got to her afterwards. We are so proud of our girl and it was so fun to have all the attention on her today!! Her competitive brothers were all 3 tracking scores and making observations the whole time as well 😂 Sis had a good day and we are so excited to watch her get stronger and grow this season! 💙🩷
