🪩 🥾 BOOTS FOR DANCING 🥾 🪩

'Dancing Dave Carson' of Edinburgh's own Boots For Dancing popped into Good Vibes this weekend!

He was showing off the new LP, 'Dance and Resist' which has just landed in store, courtesy of @athens_of_the_north.
Fresh alchemy from the @seabassvinyl factory, and made in Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We've managed to get our hands on these slightly early, ahead of it's official release on Friday, so if you'd like a sneaky listen, pop into the shop to pick one up today.

Ten tracks of funk, protest and dancefloor testimony!

There will be an official LP launch party with Athens of The North and @box.nrg happening on Friday the 16th of October at Leith Fab Cricket Club. Pop down for a wee boogie!

Swipe to the left to see which tram stop to jump off at for your visit to Good Vibes. 🚋

Frick yeah… on 4th November I’m opening for madcap maverick @eilirpierce at Leith Depot. Jarvis Cocker loves him, Huw Stevens called him a genius, and his new album Half-Time features Aidan Moffat and Gwenno. Oh, and it’s only his bloody 40th album.

Don’t sleep on tickets – it will be FAB.

It’s gonna be nice to be back at the depot. I played my very first gig there (scroll along for a pre-show pic). I wasn’t planning for this thing to be a live thing at all, but a certain @vic_galloway convinced me to put a set together for his @vitaminc_club and that's kinda shaped the whole way I write songs now.

The shows also 5 days after my new album hits the streaming platforms so it's pretty perfect timing.

See ya there ✌️
