Yesterday we spent a couple of hours at @commonprojectco, a little art studio on Cedros in Solana Beach. ✨
They’ve created such a special space for us all to slow down, be creative, and connect with each other, which I’ve come to know as one of the best forms of therapy.
We tried our hand at ceramics, and I loved their approach of giving us just enough instruction, inspiration, and a few techniques to feel confident doing our own thing, then let us settle in, be creative and connect while we created.
It felt so good to learn something new and to make something with my hands. Already dreaming about what I want to make next ✨✨

(@commonprojectco offers so many options/mediums - from ceramics and pottery wheel lessons to watercolor painting, block printing, and all kinds of creative workshops. You can book a one-time experience, drop in on Sundays, take classes, or even become a studio member if you want to make it a regular thing.)

FOUNDERS HAPPY HOUR 🫶🏼

@sdmomwalks launch event of this new series took a small vision and turned it into a big one. a hope that creating a gathering for mothers to take pause | to focus, to create, to motivate.

a golden hour evening filled with magic ✨one that cultivated true support. the feeling of being seen, heard and understood. a space for women, mothers, business owners to connect and feel less alone.

this event sparked truth in the fact that it is POWERFUL to be together in one space learning, expanding & growing alongside one another🤍

Last night was magical speaking at the inaugural Founders Happy Hour with @sdmomwalks and @caminobks . 💫

I was invited to be on a powerhouse panel with @drmorgancutlip @drcassidy @andreafaulknerwilliams from @tubbytodd @kelli_murray from @ryleeandcru and @seaestaedit from @seaestasurf that focused on mental health, starting and owning businesses, and raising children.

The North Coastal San Diego sunset was showing off while the terrace at @officialdelmarplaza was filled with a group of beautiful moms connecting, laughing, crying, sharing and bonding together!

And I had the opportunity to sell a bunch of books. I am truly humbled and grateful for all the mamas who supported me and went home with a resource to help support them through their motherhood journey!
