“I’m going for a walk…” 🌊 When this is what a walk looks like, how could you not? 😍 Just another reason we love calling Crescent City home. ❤️ Anyone else feel instantly better after a walk on the beach? #SeafrontBaking #SeaquakeBrewing #redwoodnationalandstateparks #southbeachcrescentcity

3 Days in Crescent City, California!📍 We came for the redwoods, but quickly discovered there was so much more to love about this little coastal town! Here’s how we’d spend three days in Crescent City all over again. DAY 1 🌊 Start with a visit to Sea Front Baking Co, then head to Battery Point to explore the tidepools at low tide. Finish the day with a meal at Chart Room, where you might even spot some sea lions! DAY 2 🌲 Spend the morning exploring the redwoods (you can’t visit this area without seeing those giants!). If you have kiddos, be sure to get those Jr Ranger badges! Afterward, grab a bite at Sea Quake Brewery, super kid friendly and delicious- we stopped here twice! DAY 3 🐚 Head to Enderts Beach for more tidepooling and exploring. Pack a picnic and take your time enjoying the beach. This ended up being our favorite experience in this area! Crescent City surprised us in the best way. We came expecting towering trees, but it was the rocky coastline, tidepools, and hours spent exploring the beach that really won us over - who knew that tidepooling was going to be a top experience for this family? We sure didn’t! WE ARE OBSESSED! 📌 Save this itinerary for your next Northern California road trip! #CrescentCityCA #NorthernCalifornia #FamilyTravel #Redwoods #CaliforniaCoast

Front Porch Friday | Episode 19 🤎🏡 Moving day may be chaos, but takeout on the floor is practically tradition. Tonight’s takeout came from @seafrontbakingco —because even moving-day chaos deserves something good. The boxes can wait. Take in the moment. ✨ #FrontPorchFriday #LoveWhereYouLive #seafrontbakingcompany #realestatewithashleylee

💜 August Wrap-Up 💜 August was a much better month for me compared to July. It was still hot as heck, but it’ll probably be hot as heck well into Christmas. I took a longgg road trip from San Diego to Washington with my family and enjoyed it so much I barely took pics! I love the PNW so I was just soaking it in. QOTD: what was the highlight of August for you? My fave reads this month were probably Never Whistle at Night II, Mazywood, and Doomsdate! 📍 Brigham Fish Market, Indigenous Women-owned Best halibut and smoked salmon I’ve ever had!! @bykishamarie is hosting a readathon for Puerto Rico water relief. Check out her profile for more on how to participate and pledge! ❌🤖 Nepal Landslide relief! Scenes from the “fruit loop” at the base of Mt. Hood @rania.writes B2S mutual aid! Just a month for gluten free little treats. Excellent donut holes from Big Wig Coffee in Salem, and matcha and gf donuts from @thirdculturebakery is a MUST whenever I’m in the Bay. Also had the best pizza of my life in Crescent City from @seafrontbakingco !!!! @desibookaunty ‘s ongoing mutual aid circle! @waterislifegaza ‘s next campaign for water trucks in Gaza Ongoing campaign from abolitionistdirectaid Support families who have been victimized by this administration via @daylaborernetwork Campaign for flood relief in Indy! @thelocalradish

We spent Friday-Sunday in Redwoods National and State Parks. The Redwood system is massive, so three days was definitely necessary to see most of it. We decided to break it into pieces each day: the middle on Friday, north on Saturday, and south on Sunday. Every place we visited was absolutely beautiful, but here are our favorite activities that we did: #redwoodforest #nationalpark #california #familytrip #travel

The last few photos from our trip to Crescent City. We visited Pebble beach one more time before heading out the next morning. The kids built a fort with their cousins and uncle and climbed on so many rocks. It was truly such a magical trip full of so much nature and family time. The kids have already declared this the best summer ever ♥️
